*NYG 2025: Adekunle Precious and Shehu Strike Gold for Kwara in Badminton*

Adekunle Precious Gbotemi and Sheu AbdulMujeeb of Team Kwara clinched the gold medal after defeating Team Ogun in the mixed doubles event at the ongoing 9th edition of the National Youth Games, held at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State. Both Adekunle and Shehu were cheered to victory by the Kwara contingent.

Gov AbdulRazaq sympathizes with Edu residents over dam flooding

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq expresses his sympathy to the people of Lafiagi, Tsaragi, and Shonga Emirates on the recent flooding of their farmlands due to excess water release from a dam.

The Governor acknowledges the pains of the affected communities, especially farmers whose crops were involved.

Governor AbdulRazaq, meanwhile, commends the proactive steps of the Edu Local Government Council Chairman Hon. Abdullahi Bello Ndamangoro to ensure calm since the unfortunate incident.
