TO GOD BE THE GLORY
It was indeed an awesome and joyful experience today, Friday, 5th September 2025, at the laying of the foundation of a new Church at OKE OGUNGUN, Imesi-Ile.
We gathered together as one family in Christ to establish this new foundation, which will become part of Methodist Church Nigeria, Ijana Imesi-Ile, under the dynamic leadership of our beloved father, The Right Revd Rufus Oluwasegun Atolaye, JP, JP, alongside other anointed ministers of the Diocese.
We return all the glory to God for this great beginning and pray that this work shall grow, flourish, and stand as a testimony to generations yet unborn.
Worthy is the Lamb!

DIGGING OF FOUNDATION & HOUSE FELLOWSHIP AT OLOGUNGUN’S COMPOUND

To the glory of God, yesterday was a remarkable and busy day for us at Methodist Church Nigeria, Ijana, Imesi-Ile, as our youths and young men came together in unity to dig the foundation of the new Church, which will be laid on Friday 5th September ,2025 at 9:00am. The communal effort, dedication, and sacrifice of our people is highly commendable. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
Furthermore, it was a gathering of joy this evening at the compound of Baale Ologungun, where members of MCN Ijana offered prayers for the land of Ogungun, for Baale and his family, and for the success of the new project set to begin tomorrow.
The Church also visited the site, now ready for the great work of building God’s house.
May the Lord hear and answer our prayers in Jesus’ name. Amen.

NEW CHURCH IS LOADING AT OKE OGUNGUN:
To the glory of God, and by His grace, we received another great support from our Youths this evening as preparations continue towards planting a new Church at OKE OGUNGUN, IMESI-ILE.
In unity of purpose, we gathered this evening to uproot trees and clear the land, getting it ready for the establishment of a new sanctuary for the Lord.
May the Almighty God prosper His Church and cause this new work to flourish in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

OKE OGUNGUN HOUSE FELLOWSHIP REPORT
The Ijana Methodist Church held her House Fellowship today at Daddy David Ogunsade’s residence, hosted by the family of Mr. & Mrs. Femi Olutimehin .
The fellowship was a time of prayer, thanksgiving, and encouragement. Special intercessions were offered for:
The family of Mr. & Mrs. Femi Olutimehin.
The entire congregation of Ijana Methodist Church.
The grace and divine provision for the establishment of a new Church at OKE Ogungun very soon.
We strongly believe that the Lord who has begun this good work will bring it to fulfillment. May God hear our prayers and perfect His will concerning us, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

EVANGELISM AT THE HUNTERS’ MEETING IN IMESI ILE
Today, Monday 25/08/2025
By Ijana Methodist Church Presbyter
The Spirit of God led me today to the monthly meeting of the Hunters in Imesi Ile, where I visited three of their venues at SAODE, ODUNMORUN, and OSORI. At each meeting ground, I prayed with them and encouraged them to remain vigilant as the local security on whom the town relies for protection.
I shared with them the vision God placed in my heart, reminding them of the urgent need not to “sleep with both eyes closed” but to be alert always. I also admonished them to put their total trust in God, rather than relying solely on their own strength or other sources of power.
Finally, I committed them into God’s hands in prayer, asking the Lord to strengthen, guide, and protect them as they continue to serve the community .

CELEBRATION OF WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP MCN IJANA, IMESI-ILE
We give glory to God for the grace bestowed upon our Women’s Fellowship of MCN Ijana, Imesi-Ile, as they returned joyfully from the 2025 Women’s Fellowship Conference of the Diocese of Imesi-Ile, held under the esteemed leadership of Mama Bishop, Susannah Yetunde Atolaye.
We celebrate God’s goodness over their lives and His sustaining power throughout the conference. May His abiding presence continue with us till we gather again next year, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Indeed, God is with MCN Ijana!
