School owners, parents, be careful with the teachers you employ. Make sure you get every detail about your employees. School owners, make sure you get involved in any birthday celebrations in your schools. Parents, teach your children how to reject some offers or bring anything given to them home by a stranger. My daughter brought a cake back from school on Friday, July 11th, from a teacher who had her birthday party. Immediately after my kids returned home, we packed our bags, heading to the village for my uncle's burial, and that Friday was the last day of their exams. My 7-year-old daughter brought the cake back and showed it to me. I told her to keep it in the kitchen; I would pray before they ate it, as usual. After all was set and done, by the time we left the house, we forgot the cake. My children remembered it on our way, and I told them I would tell their dad to get it the next day. My husband refused to bring it.
Returning and opening my child's flask to wash it, I found something that looked like dried meat (suya) instead of cake. I took a picture of it and put it back in my baby's lunch box. My husband and I went to the school to report it. After we reported it, the proprietor pleaded that we shouldn't involve the police until he hears from the teacher. My husband refused, fearing she might escape, while the proprietor doubted it. Since then, the teacher has not been found. The worst part is that we haven't heard any bad news from the parents of other children who ate it, and thankfully, my child didn't eat the cake, but I suspect that initiation may have occurred with the other children. The proprietor told us not to inform other parents since we haven't seen the teacher and nothing has happened to the pupils.
I refused, and my husband told me that I should never let anyone know about it because the teacher is nowhere to be found. Even the certificate of the person she submitted, who looks like her, indicates that she died 12 years ago. When a call was made to one of the references in her CV, it was confirmed that the person in the CV died 12 years ago. My husband wanted to go further with the investigation, but as soon as they said she died, he backed off and asked me never to say anything about this case. By next term, my kids would no longer attend that school again.
I just want to know if the steps my husband took were the right ones.
and we are trying to send my children on holiday in the village while we relocate to another place so that my children's friends who ate the cake wouldn't visit us.
