"HOW THE BODY OF JESUS CHRIST WORKS"
Ephesians 1:19-23; 19. And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20. Which he wrought in Christ when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21. Far above all principality, and power, and might,and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22. And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23. Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all." Jesus should be your focal point above all else. Philippians 2:9-11; 9. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him,and given him a name which is above every name: 10. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things on earth, and things under the earth; 11. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." 2Timothy 2:15; "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2Timothy 3:16-17; 16. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17. That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." This is the road map to our lives. God's greatness is brought to life for us. Jesus was dead three days and He rose again defeating sin and death. God has given us power and authority through Christ Jesus. Matthew 8:9; "For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it." The centurion was also a man under authority. Everything that Jesus has, we have. 1John 4:17; "Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world." Ephesians 3:20-21; 20. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21. Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen." Romans 6:14; "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." Luke 4:14; "And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about." Jesus returned in the power of the Father. Romans 1:16; "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first and also to the Greek." We have been given His power and authority. John 3:29; "He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him,rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled." We must surrender as His bride. John 15:14; "Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you." We can feel His pleasure and joy. He will manifest Himself when we submit ourselves and come humbly to Him. The Lord will build His church and it will be strong against the enemy. Hebrews 3:6; "But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end." Jesus paid the ultimate price for His church. Acts 20:28; "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood." Matthew 16:18-19; 18. And I say also unto thee,That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Jesus knew the devil was defeated when He said, "It is finished." John 19:30; "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost."
