The Dreaming Priest

Long time ago there lived a priest who was extremely lazy and poor at the same time. He did not want to do any hard work but used to dream of being rich one day. He got his food by begging for alms. One morning he got a pot of milk as part of the alms. He was extremely delighted and went home with the pot of milk. He boiled the milk, drank some of it and put the remaining milk in a pot. He added slight curds in the pot for converting the milk to curd. He then lay down to sleep.

Soon he started imagining about the pot of curd while he lay asleep. He dreamed that if he could become rich somehow all his miseries would be gone. His thoughts turned to the pot of milk he had set to form curd. He dreamed on; “By morning the pot of milk would set, it would be converted to curd. I would churn the curd and make butter from it. I would heat the butter and make ghee out of it. I will then go to that market and sell that ghee, and make some money. With that money i will buy a hen. The hen will lay may eggs which will hatch and there will be many chicken. These chicken will in turn lay hundreds of eggs and I will soon have a poultry farm of my own.” He kept on imagining.

“I will sell all the hens of my poultry and buy some cows, and open a milk dairy. All the town people will buy milk from me. I will be very rich and soon I shall buy jewels. The king will buy all the jewels from me. I will be so rich that I will be able to marry an exceptionally beautiful girl from a rich family. Soon I will have a handsome son. If he does any mischief I will be very angry and to teach him a lesson, I will hit him with a big stick.”During this dream, he involuntarily picked up the stick next to his bed and thinking that he was beating his son, raised the stick and hit the pot. The pot of milk broke and he awoke from his day dream.

Moral: There is no substitute for hard work. Dreams cannot be fulfilled without hard work.

BENEVOLENT JUMBO
Jumbo, a big elephant, was very kind and caring towards others. One day, he saw a little boy crying. Jumbo went to him and asked him the reason for crying.

The boy replied, "I was carrying water to my home, when I noticed a hole in my bucket. All the water had been drained out. Now how will I take water to my home?"

Jumbo consoled the boy and thought of a plan. He filled his trunk with water and went along with the boy to his home. There he poured the water from his trunk into another basket.

The boy felt very happy and gave Jumbo bananas to eat.

My husband turned me into a 419 when he started giving me 250 naira for our every day meal.
He was a millionaire. A stingy millionaire, so my friend gave me an advice. She said that I should start duping him.

My husband was stingy to the extent that, he did not cut his bushy hair for over a year, my husband never bought new clothes and shoes, he has only one Micra car which he inherited from his father, and me and our three kids has to push the car every Sunday morning because the car was spoilt and my husband would not call a mechanic.

I was the one paying our kid's fees with the manageable money I get from my boutique.
I tried my best to take care of our kids if I don't even take care of myself. You can add up to keep in touch
All my efforts to hide the fact from the kids that their father is irresponsible- proved abortive.
They later knew.

Our eldest son who got admitted into the university was the one that first knew. I usually go broke after paying the school fees.
The first time our son asked me why dad didn't pay his school fees when he had a lot of money, I said he was the one who paid. And when it was time to pay for his next semester, I gave the money to my husband to give him, my husband did not!
He kept the money and asked our son to drop out.
"How would you pay such huge money all because of school?" He had said.
And I wondered what he expected money to be spent on.

It was at that point that I took my friend's advise and kidnapped our kids, we demanded a ransom of 12.3 million naira.
I had wanted to ask for 3million but my friend said NO.

My husband actually paid that 12+ and that was when I knew my husband had more.
Soon, I got people to join my fraud industry! People who acted like fake prophets and witch doctors.
We did a lot and we extracted over 2 billion naira from my husband.
I thought he was a millionaire...

I have just started this my 419. It's been 3 months... But I have just started.
