Raekwon is one of those rappers who has already made his mark in hip-hop. When youโ€™ve built classics like he has, you can either keep experimenting with new sounds or stick to what fans already love. For the most part, Rae knows how to give people what they came for. Albums like Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang and The Wild show he still has that raw storytelling energy.

Now, with โ€œThe Emperorโ€™s New Clothesโ€, it feels like Rae is trying to remind us heโ€™s still got it, but the album has its ups and downs. Some tracks like โ€˜Wild Corsicansโ€™ and โ€˜Mac & Lobsterโ€™ with Ghostface stand outโ€”they have that old Wu vibe and Rae sounds sharp. But other songs, like โ€˜Debra Night Wine,โ€™ feel off and donโ€™t really hit.

The beats are sometimes too safe and donโ€™t match Raeโ€™s energy. You can tell the album is more about proving his legacy rather than trying to reinvent the wheel. Itโ€™s not his strongest project, but Raeโ€™s voice and presence are still solid after all these years. If youโ€™re a Wu-Tang fan, youโ€™ll still find a few tracks here worth playing

I just listened to Joyner Lucasโ€™ diss on Skepta, and bro didnโ€™t hold back at all. He called Skepta irrelevant, mocked his music sales, said he dresses like a woman, and even clowned his UK accent. Joyner went as far as saying Skeptaโ€™s career is dead and that heโ€™s nowhere near his level.

This might be one of the coldest disses Iโ€™ve heard in a while. Skepta better respond quickโ€ฆ or is this over already? Right now Iโ€™m looking Skepta ๐Ÿ‘€

With Central Cee, and I have to say, this one hits different. The vibe is calm but heavyโ€”Drake isnโ€™t even trying to make a radio hit here, heโ€™s just talking his talk. Central Cee came through with sharp bars that give the track a whole new energy.

To me, this song feels like a warning shot ahead of Drakeโ€™s upcoming album ICEMAN. Itโ€™s not the type of song you sing along to, but the vibe and message? On point.

What do you guys thinkโ€”did Drake and Cee cook up something special here?

So Drakeโ€™s โ€œWhat Did I Miss?โ€ couldnโ€™t even debut at number one, and now itโ€™s already down to number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Crazy how much hype and noise it made online, but still didnโ€™t top the chart.

I really thought the buzz would carry it higher, especially after all that back and forth with Kendrick. Guess the people are moving on fast.

Anyway No1 isn't a new thing to Drake, he got it in many.

So I finally sat with both Let God Sort Em Out and JackBoys 2 โ€” and hereโ€™s how I see it.

Letโ€™s start with Clipse. I grew up on Hell Hath No Fury, so hearing Pusha T and Malice back together after all these years? Thatโ€™s history. Theyโ€™re not just rapping, theyโ€™re reminding us who they are. The bars are sharp, the stories feel personal, and even though Pharrellโ€™s beats felt a bit too clean at times, it still gave me that old-school feeling.

But hereโ€™s the thing โ€” Let God Sort Em Out feels like itโ€™s trying to prove something. Like itโ€™s saying, โ€œWe still matter.โ€ And honestly, they donโ€™t need to prove anything to me. They're Clipse. Legends already.

Now JackBoys 2? That one feels way more effortless. It's fun, it's current, it bangs in the car, and it feels like Travis and the crew just pulled up and said, โ€œLetโ€™s make some heat.โ€ It's not deep, but it hits. Perfect for now.

If Iโ€™m picking based on replay value, JackBoys 2 gets the edge โ€” but if weโ€™re talking legacy and bars, Clipse is different. I just wish Pharrell gave them those classic wild Neptunes beats instead of the safe ones.

But thatโ€™s me. What yโ€™all feeling more?

I just finished listening to Tyler, The Creatorโ€™s new album โ€œDonโ€™t Tap The Glassโ€ โ€” and let me tell you, this one really hit me different.

From the first track, I could feel itโ€ฆ Tyler wasnโ€™t trying to be deep or complicated this time. He just wants me (and all of us) to move. Thatโ€™s it. Dance, run, drive, vibe โ€” just donโ€™t sit still. ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿฝ

And I get it. Tyler said he asked his friends why they donโ€™t dance in public, and they said itโ€™s because of phones and people filming. That really got me thinking. Even I sometimes hold back because of stuff like that. So this album felt like a reminder: Stop overthinking, stop scrolling โ€” just live.

The title โ€œDonโ€™t Tap The Glassโ€ even has a message. You know those signs at the zoo or aquarium that say โ€œdonโ€™t tap the glassโ€? Tylerโ€™s flipping that. Heโ€™s saying: donโ€™t just watch people like theyโ€™re on display. Donโ€™t just stand there filming. Join in. Feel the music. Move your body.

The whole album gave me energy. The beats go hard. The sound is fun and alive. Itโ€™s not something you break down line by line. Itโ€™s something you feel with your chest. No sadness. No drama. Just freedom.

Honestly, this is the kind of music that reminds me why I love hip-hop. Not just the bars or the stories โ€” but the vibe, the movement, the freedom. Tyler gave us that.

So yeah, if you havenโ€™t played it yet, go check it out. But donโ€™t just listen โ€” move with it.
