Tomato and pepper prices pushed me straight back to banga soup 😂
Two Sundays ago, I almost cried in the market because the small tomatoes they wanted to give me could not even reach my cooking pot 😩 You all know I cook stew in large quantity so it can last for school runs and busy weekdays.
I even thought banga would be more affordable, but when one woman told me ₦2,000 for half paint that day, the thought of cooking banga disappeared immediately from my head 😂
Fast forward to today… another woman came with fresh banga seeds and I asked the price, already thinking she would say ₦1,500 for half paint.
My dear, she said ONE FULL PAINT is ₦1,500 😭🔥
I quickly collected one sharp sharp because see freshness! 😍
Now Sunday’s cooking vlog is officially set because it has honestly been a long time since I cooked banga soup in this house. And trust me, this cooking is going to be LOUD 😂🔥

One thing I will always be grateful for is my husband. ❤️
He has always been present, supportive, and willing to help with the children and our home. I truly appreciate everything he does for our family.
But as a working mom, balancing motherhood, work, business, school runs, meal preparation, and household responsibilities can still be overwhelming at times.
For years, there were days I woke up before 5 a.m., prepared the children for school, went to work, handled my business, and returned home to more responsibilities waiting for me.
Recently, God blessed our family with an extra helping hand, and the difference has been incredible. Having someone who genuinely cares for my children, helps around the house, and treats them with love has brought so much relief to our home.
For the first time in a long while, I can slow down a little, catch my breath, and have some time to myself without feeling guilty.
To every parent working tirelessly for their family, I see you. And if you have someone who sincerely helps care for your home and children, appreciate them. They are truly a blessing.
To my husband, thank you for always showing up for us. And to God, thank You for making this season a little lighter. ❤️🙏
