Justice has been served hot

Timileyin Ajayi (the man wey claim to be gospel singer and killer of Salome) has been sentenced to death by hanging today, the news have been all over the main stream media. It is a thing of joy because finally justice is served and served cold (even though it can’t bring the deceased back to life sadly). You should know that Ajayi was charged with Culpable Homicide punishable under 221 of the Penal Code (Criminal legislation applicable in the northern part of Nigeria).

The prosecution really did a good job because e no easy to prove the offence of culpable homicide. To prove the said offence, the prosecution proved beyond reasonable doubt that;
1. Salome died in unlawful circumstances
2.Ajayi caused the death of the deceased
3. Ajayi intended to kill Salome (these are the elements the prosecution proved in Court). See the case of Maikudi V. State (2013) 12 NWLR (pt. 1368) at 403 at 409. Actually the judgement is sweet.

Pls remember that Ajayi still have right to appeal the case to the court of Appeal because na him right be that.

When he was asked about it in an interview, he said:

Wizkid pays me to protęct him at all cost and I was only doing my job. But I didn’t just receive that stãb in Wizkid’s place because he pays me to protęct him but it’s because I know that if my own life was in dangęr, Wizkid would do Something to help me.
