I didn’t grow up poor. My father was a pilot who later founded an aviation consulting firm. After schooling in Nigeria, I moved to Ghana and studied Mechanical Engineering at KNUST. At 23, I returned home to Nigeria and began working as a mechanical engineer with Schlumberger.
Music makes up just 20% of my earnings. Long before recognition, I was already an entrepreneur. I experimented with many ventures—club promotion, e-commerce, and other businesses. Today, I operate companies in 18 African countries.
Now at 34, I’m more than an artist. I’m also an entrepreneur and investor. Alongside my wife Temi, we are building businesses and driving impact. That’s why I always say, I’m more than music—I’m a businessman first.
