Thomas Tuchel, who guided us to UCL glory in 2021 and the FIFA Club World Cup in February 2022 (beating Palmeiras 2–1 in Abu Dhabi), was surprisingly sacked in September 2022. His replacement, Graham Potter, struggled under pressure and left after seven turbulent months. Frank Lampard returned temporarily but couldn’t rescue a dreadful 2022/2023 season we finished 12th.
Pain. Confusion. Laughter from our rivals. But amid all that, something beautiful was brewing.
In 2023, Mauricio Pochettino brought some order, guiding us to a Carabao Cup final and an FA Cup semi-final, and helping young stars like Cole Palmer, Enzo Fernández, and Nicolas Jackson develop. Still, inconsistencies remained, and a managerial change followed.
Then came Enzo Maresca in 2024. A Pep Guardiola disciple, Maresca arrived with a vision, and Chelsea began to feel like Chelsea again. The players believed. The fans believed. The blue flag began to fly high again.
On Wednesday, 28 May 2025, at the Stadion Wrocław (also known for sponsorship reasons as the Tarczyński Arena Wrocław) in Wrocław, Poland. Chelsea won our first UEFA Confrence league against Real Betis 4-1
It may be Europe’s third-tier competition, but for us, it meant revival. Pride. Resilience. Proof that the club was alive again.
From a near collapse in 2022 to winning three trophies in three years the Club World Cup, Carabao Cup, and Conference League Chelsea has shown the heart of a champion. We turned trauma into triumph. We rebuilt brick by brick. We silenced the doubters.
The road was rough, but the resurrection is real.
Chelsea isn’t just back we're reborn.
The pride of London lives on. 💙
