Deborah was a remarkable, enterprising young woman who relocated to Lagos from her native Benue State many years ago.

She ventured into interior decoration and made a good success of it.

Because she persisted and dared, she had a flourishing interior decoration business and clients who loved her work and couldn't stop referring her.

For all her success in Lagos and with her work, there was an ex in the background who refused to move on.

They broke up two years ago, and this ex was still stuck in one place, hoping against hope that she would change her mind and accept him back.

A classic case of staying back at the train station even when the train had left.

So, this ex visited her at home two nights ago.

Things got heated, and this ex stabbed her multiple times to her untimely death.

Just like that, all her dreams, plans for business, and plans for the future died that night.

Deborah is dead because a jilted ex refused to move on.

May her soul rest in peace.
