In fact, at the beginning, my heart was never inclined towards accepting any religious title, especially in this era, where chieftaincy honours have become increasingly widespread, often conferred for worldly celebration, commercial interests, or mere recognition, etc, across our communities. But, after months of seeking guidance, making consultation and reflecting deeply, I came to realise that, this is not just a title, it is a burden, a trust, and a call to duty.

And so, I accepted it! Not for honour, not for recognition, but as a commitment, a commitment to serve more, to sacrifice more, and to dedicate myself even more deeply to the cause of Islam.

Eid Mubarak Message to the ACADIP Family
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
I extend my warmest Eid greetings to the entire ACADIP family across the world. May this blessed occasion bring peace, joy, and countless blessings to every one of us.
My special greetings go to our respected President, Malam Yusuf Adepoju, for his leadership and dedication. I also warmly greet all ACADIP lovers, members, and fans worldwide who continue to support and uphold the noble mission of this great organization.
With deep respect, I send my greetings to Alhaji Saidi Sh*ttu, Alhaji Lukman US, Barrister US Imam, Barrister Bayero, Barrister Yaradua, Lawyer Liberty, and all the distinguished lawyers and officers of ACADIP. May Allah continue to strengthen you all and reward your efforts abundantly.
I also specially greet all Bible reciters and Qur’an reciters within ACADIP. May Allah increase your knowledge, wisdom, and sincerity, and reward your efforts in spreading truth and understanding.

RE: INSTALLATION OF MALLAM YUSUF ADEPOJU AS THE AGBẸSINGA OF ẸDẸ LAND

On the 20th of June, 2025, approximately nine months ago, the Ede Muslim Council, under the distinguished leadership of its Chairman, Dr. Misbaudeen Idris, formally reached out to Mallam Yusuf Adepoju to convey the Council’s noble intention to confer upon him the esteemed title of AGBẸSINGA OF ẸDẸ LAND, with the installation proposed for April 2026.

At the outset, Mallam Yusuf Adepoju, in his characteristic humility, felt unworthy of such a prestigious honour. However, following extensive consultations with respected scholars and revered elders, and after receiving sincere and encouraging counsel from various quarters, he graciously accepted the Council’s decision.

This honour is not merely a title, it is a call to greater service, as it will further empower him to advance the cause of Islam and deepen his contributions to the betterment of society and humanity at large.

We are therefore delighted to use this medium to cordially invite your esteemed presence at this historic and epoch-making occasion, scheduled as follows:
