Na taba shiga wani gida da ya yi matukar kyau. Daga waje kadai za ka san an kashe kudi sosai. Komai ya yi kyau kuma ya dauki ido. Amma yayin da muke hira da mai gidan, sai ya ce da ni:
"Da ace na san kula da gidan zai yi wahala haka, da na rage wasu abubuwa tun farko."
Wannan magana ta sa ni tunani.

Sau da yawa mutane suna gina gida ne da abin da zai burge mutane a yau, ba tare da tunanin yadda za su kula da shi gobe ba. Bayan an gama gini ne sai a fara fuskantar kudin fenti, gyare-gyare, wutar lantarki, tsaftacewa da sauran abubuwan da ba a cika la'akari da su tun farko ba.

Gaskiya ita ce, gida mai kyau ba wai wanda ya fi kowa kyau a gani ba ne. Gida mai kyau shi ne wanda za ka iya rayuwa a cikinsa cikin kwanciyar hankali kuma ka iya kula da shi ba tare da wahala ba.

Shi ya sa yake da muhimmanci a tuntubi kwararru kafin a fara gini. Architect mai kyau ba zai taimaka maka ka gina gida kawai ba, zai taimaka maka ka tsara gida da ya dace da kasafinka da kuma rayuwarka na gaba.

I once visited a house that looked very beautiful from outside. Marble everywhere, expensive POP ceiling, massive compound, luxury lighting… honestly, anyone passing by would think the owner had achieved everything in life.

But while discussing with the owner, he quietly said something that stayed in my mind "If I knew maintenance would be this difficult, I would have reduced many things."
