Gengle Development Area Sole Administrator Assumes Office, Pledges Commitment to Service
The newly inaugurated Sole Administrator of Gengle State Development Area, Hon. Musa Mohammed Gengle, has officially resumed office following his inauguration, pledging to serve the people with dedication, commitment, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Speaking shortly after assuming office on Wednesday, Hon. Gengle expressed profound gratitude to the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for the confidence reposed in him. He also appreciated the member representing Mayo-Belwa Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Musa Mahmud Kallamu, as well as the people of Gengle and Yoffo Ward for their support and trust.
The Sole Administrator further acknowledged the contributions of his supporters, family members, friends, and the All Progressives Congress (APC), thanking them for their roles in the successful inauguration ceremony.
As part of his first official engagements, Hon. Gengle paid a courtesy visit to the Acting District Head of Gengle, Mr. Jeremiah Hammawa, where he sought prayers, guidance, and support from the traditional institution. He emphasized the importance of traditional rulers in fostering peace, unity, and grassroots development.
In his response, Mr. Hammawa warmly welcomed the Sole Administrator and commended him for recognizing the significance of the traditional institution. He described the visit as a demonstration of respect and expressed confidence in Hon. Gengle's ability to provide effective leadership for the development area.
The Acting District Head also offered prayers for the success of the new administration and wished the Sole Administrator a fruitful tenure.
Hon. Gengle was accompanied during the visit by members of the APC executive in Gengle Ward and several associates.
The assumption of office by the Sole Administrator marks the beginning of a new phase of leadership in the development area, with expectations focused on improved governance, community development, and enhanced service delivery to the people.
