GOVERNOR FINTIRI HOSTS IGBO COMMUNITY ON COURTESY VISIT

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri today received the Igbo community in Adamawa State on a courtesy call, led by the Eze Ndi Igbo, Eze Omeneka III.

Speaking during the visit, the President General of the Igbo Cultural Association Emmanuel Aneke expressed gratitude to the Governor for running an inclusive government that gives the Igbo community a true sense of belonging in the state. He further pledged their continued loyalty and support to the present administration.

In his remarks, the Eze Ndi Igbo appreciated the Governor for the improved security situation in Adamawa, noting that it has created a safe environment where businesses thrive without fear.

Responding, Governor Fintiri thanked the Igbo community for their steadfast support and assured them that more Igbos would soon be appointed into his administration as part of his inclusive governance drive.

The visit featured colorful cultural displays, including Ogene music and performances by the Igbo Women Association.

BREAKINH :ROGUE IN KHAKI, Senator Ishaku Abbo - SIA Alleges Lt. Col. Nwak**a Is Terrorizing Michika & Mubi.

SenatorAbbo Ishaku has publicly accused a soldier, named Lt. Col. Nwak**a, of allegedly using his uniform to brutalize old women, rob and extort civilians, sell fuel to smugglers, and incarcerate youths for refusing bribes. The Senator says he’s compiled evidence, has consulted top generals, and will expose the crimes to local and international human-rights bodies.

If true, this is not just a scandal, it’s a betrayal of the khaki that protects our communities. If false, it risks wrecking a soldier’s life and stoking dangerous tensions. Which is it, a cover-up inside the barracks or a political crusade to purge “bad eggs”?

We call on the Army to investigate this issue transparently, or will Michika and Mubi be left counting victims while the powerful look away?

ADAMAWA STATE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION DEBUNKED RUMOURS AND ISSUES WARNING AGAINST FRAUDULENT RECRUITMENT AGENTS

The Adamawa State Civil Service Commission has cautioned candidates participating in the ongoing recruitment exercise to beware of fraudsters posing as agents of the commission.

In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Commission, Barrister Musa Kaibo, the commission emphasized that it does not, and will not, collect money or any form of gratification in exchange for employment.

The statement further warned individuals who go about extorting unsuspecting applicants under the guise of securing them jobs to desist immediately, as such acts will not be tolerated. Candidates or members of the public are urged to report anyone found guilty of such practices to security agencies or directly to the commission’s headquarters, providing necessary details of the culprits. The commission assured that the identity of whistleblowers will be fully protected.

Barrister Kaibo reaffirmed that, as directed by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the recruitment process will remain open, fair, and transparent to ensure equal opportunity for all qualified candidates
