However, a quieter, structural solution lies right on our roads: the ubiquitous KEKE. While primarily viewed as a commercial commuter vehicle, the Keke's role extends beyond direct surveillance; it is a powerful catalyst for community policing. When properly incentivized and encouraged to report to security agencies, they become frontline assets for prevention, bridging the critical intelligence gap between formal security forces and local communities.Plateau State can effectively harness this everyday vehicle to build a safer, more resilient future and also where every DAUGHTER can walk her path in safety and dignity.

30,000 Wheels of Progress: CELEBRATING A VISIONARY AT 80.

Today, we gather our hearts to honor a man whose foresight didn't just change the transportation system of Plateau State—it rewrote the story of livelihoods for thousands of families.

When you introduced the Keke (tricycle) to our streets during your tenure, many raised eyebrows. But you, Dara Jang, saw beyond the skepticism. You saw a tool for mass empowerment when others saw only a vehicle.

Fast forward to today, and the numbers speak volumes: over 30,000 kekes now ply our roads, directly empowering more than 60,000 riders who support their children, parents, and communities. This single bold decision has:

✅ Strengthened our local economy and boosted internally generated revenue
✅ Created a sustainable transport and logistics backbone for our state
✅ Given dignity and purpose to thousands of young men and women
✅ Built a legacy of enterprise that continues to ripple through generations

But beyond the Keke revolution, your leadership taught us what it truly means to be visionary. You were a leader who listened, who dared to act when it was unpopular, who prioritized the common good over personal glory. You didn't just govern; you built bridges, between communities, between possibilities and realities, and between today and tomorrow.

As you turn 80, we celebrate not just your age, but the weight of your impact. We pray that the celebration you have brought to so many homes never departs from your own. May joy, peace, and divine strength accompany you and your family in all your future endeavors.

Happy Birthday, Sir! You have left footprints on the sands of Plateau that time will never wash away. We are eternally grateful.
