The Plateau State Government, under the purposeful and people-oriented leadership of Caleb Mutfwang, has once again demonstrated compassion and inclusiveness by distributing Sallah palliatives to the Muslim Ummah across the state.
The palliative initiative, ably coordinated by the committee chairman, Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga, ensured that relief materials reached beneficiaries across all local government areas. A total of six thousand bags of rice, one thousand rams, and five hundred cows were distributed to support families during the Eid celebrations, easing economic burdens and promoting shared joy among the people.
Speaking on the gesture, the chairman commended the governor for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of citizens, regardless of religious or ethnic backgrounds. He noted that the initiative reflects a leadership style rooted in unity, fairness, and genuine concern for the people.
He further emphasized that such interventions go a long way in strengthening peaceful coexistence, fostering mutual respect, and deepening the bond among diverse communities in Plateau State. According to him, the distribution was carried out transparently and fairly, ensuring that the palliatives reached those who truly need them.
The chairman also called on citizens to continue supporting the administration, highlighting that sustainable development and progress can only be achieved through collective effort and unity. He offered prayers for the governor, asking God to grant him more wisdom, strength, and success in steering the affairs of the state.
This thoughtful gesture has been widely applauded by beneficiaries and stakeholders, who described it as timely and impactful, especially during a period of celebration and reflection. It further reinforces the administration’s dedication to promoting peace, equity, and prosperity across Plateau State.
