Can you do anything for someone you love?

Me: Nah... Not sure... It depends on several factors. I'm not that stupid.

God: Absolutely! I would do anything, including becoming a baby born in one of the worst places on earth. I would grow up poor, feel the pangs of hunger, the brokenness from the death of a friend, be betrayed by another friend and murdered by the same people I healed and fed, just for you.

Me: (Throws hands in surrender) You win God, you win.

The humble birth of Christ says a lot about God's desperateness to get to us.
