The first time you offer something for free, it generates appreciation.

Repeatedly providing free help creates anticipation.

Continued assistance can lead to expectations, which may cause trouble.

Frequent free offerings may foster entitlement.

Ongoing free help can result in dependency.

If you suddenly stop giving after multiple times, it can breed resentment and hatred.
