Barr. Wendy, I need your help. My marriage is about to crash and I need legal advice. When we were dating, my wife told me she was 26 years old. I was 32 at the time, and because of her pretty and youthful look, I believed her.

‎But recently, I found some of her documents, and they show she was actually born in the 1987, meaning she’s 38 now. That means she’s six years older than me, not six years younger like I was made to believe. We’ve been married for two years now with no child, and I just found out she’s already heading towards menopause because I am already suspecting her age is the cause of our childlessness.
‎
Honestly, if I had known her real age, I would never have married her. I now believe that’s why she was so insistent on us having a statutory marriage, she had a plan.

‎When I confronted her she beg that it was not intentional, that because of her past experience she had gone to court to swear affidavit to reduce her age twelve years below even before they met themselves and so the document he saw was the old one showing her real age.
‎
‎Can I go to court to dissolve the marriage on the grounds of misrepresentation? Because I never intended to marry someone older than and he said the major pains is her lack of childlessness but she is insisting that she will give him children's that her age is not the cause.

ASUU threatens fresh strike, says Federal Government has destroyed trust on 2009 agreement:

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, is warning of a possible nationwide strike, accusing the Federal Government of failing to honour longstanding agreements on the revitalisation and proper funding of Nigeria’s public universities.

Speaking during a press conference at the University of Jos, ASUU President, Christopher Piwuna, says lecturers have endured over two years of broken promises and delay tactics by the government.

Piwuna listed unresolved issues to include the renegotiation of the 2009 ASUU-FGN agreement, outstanding salary arrears, withheld promotions, and the welfare of retired lecturers.
