WHY YOU SHOULD WRITE A BOOK ESPECIALLY IF YOU LEAD, INFLUENCE OR SERVE STUDENTS AND YOUNG LEADERS.
Over the years as an author, campus missionary, and mentor, I have come to realize something powerful: books are one of the greatest tools of influence.
If God has trusted you with a message, an idea, or a story, writing a book is one of the best ways to multiply your impact.
Here are 10 reasons you should consider writing a book:
1. Your voice can travel farther than your feet.
You may never enter every campus, classroom, or circle of influence, but your book can.
2. A book preserves your wisdom.
Moments fade. Conversations end. But a book keeps your message alive for years.
3. Writing multiplies your mentorship.
You cannot mentor everyone personally, but a book mentors people you may never meet.
4. Students and young leaders are searching for guidance.
Your book may be the roadmap someone needs to find clarity, direction, and purpose.
5. Books shape culture.
They influence thinking, build values, challenge mindsets, and inspire action.
6. Your experiences matter.
Someone is waiting to learn from your journey, your lessons, and your perspective.
7. Books open doors.
They elevate your credibility, strengthen your voice, and create new opportunities for impact.
8. You create a tool for teaching and discipleship.
Your book becomes a resource for mentors, student leaders, and campus fellowships.
9. The world needs deeper, trustworthy voices.
In an age of noise and misinformation, your book can bring truth, clarity, and light.
10. A book outlives you.
Long after you are gone, your words will still be shaping hearts, minds, and generations.
If God has placed something on your heart, do not delay.
Start writing. The world needs your voice.
