WAR IN CHOIRS NOWADAYS, READ THIS CAREFULLY...😭😭😭😭
Now to those running away from Choirs because of offense and saying the people are not God fearing...
You are a light in this world, and light is not meant to run from darkness but to shine in it. You were placed in that environment not to conform but to transform it. "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden" (Matthew 5:14).
Yes, the atmosphere may seem dark, and perhaps many there—including the choir leader—lack the fear of God. But if you carry the fear of the Lord, then your life should reflect His presence and set the standard. "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them" (Ephesians 5:11).
Instead of walking away, why not work with the leaders in wisdom and love, and show them what it means to honor God? If they come late, dress anyhow, and behave carelessly, your consistency in righteousness and humility could be the very thing God uses to bring change. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:16).
Should we, as believers, run from the world because evil abounds? No. "I do not ask that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one" (John 17:15). You are called to serve God even in hard places.
Sometimes, we want only the easy assignments—the ones without pain or pressure—but those are not always where God is most glorified. “Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children” (Hebrews 12:7). Even Jesus didn’t run from His mission despite the trials. He endured the cross because of the glory set before Him (Hebrews 12:2).
So, don't run away from your place of assignment. If God sent you there, He has a purpose, and your obedience may be the key to someone else’s deliverance. "But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded" (2 Chronicles 15:7).
