IS MUHAMMED THE GREATEST MAN ON EARTH?

LET EXAMINE FROM ISLAMIC SOURCE.

• He married a six-year-old girl (Aisha) (Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Hadith 88).

• He had sexual relations with this nine-year-old pre-pubescent girl:
Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 67, Hadith 70
Narrated by Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her):
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married her when she was six years old, and he consummated the marriage when she was nine.

• He fought against all non-Muslims and commanded others to do the same:
Quran, Surah 9:29: Fight those who do not believe in Allah or the Last Day, nor forbid what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, nor acknowledge the religion of truth, from among the People of the Scripture, until they pay the jizya willingly while they are humbled.

• He had adulterous relations with Miriam (Maria), the Coptic woman (Hafsa's servant), in his wife Hafsa's own house (Surah 66:1-4 + cf. Tafsir al-Jalalayn).

• He married the ex-wife (Zaynab) of his adopted son (Zayd) (Surah 33:37).

• He r***d captives (Surah 4:24).

• He owned, sold, and bought black slaves (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 91, Hadith 368).

• He stoned a Jew and his wife to death (Sahih Muslim, Book 17, Hadith 4216).

• He cut off a woman's hand (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 8, Book 81, Hadith 792).

• He cut off the hands and feet of people who had stolen his camels and marked their eyes with heated pieces of iron (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 7, Book 71, Hadith 590).

• He ordered the assassination of a Jewish poet, Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf, who had begun "to exhort people against Muhammad and to compose panegyric poems lamenting the fate of the men thrown into the mass grave at Badr" (Sira Ibn Hisham).

•• He slaughtered between six hundred and nine hundred men from the Jewish clan of Banu Qurayza (Sira Ibn Hisham).

• He ordered the torture of Kinana, the husband of the Jewish woman Safiya, to discover the location of his treasure (Sira Ibn Hisham).

CONCLUSION (REFLECTIVE, NOT INSULTING)

If Muhammad is presented as the perfect moral example for all time, then actions attributed to him—especially killings for speech, satire, or disbelief—must be morally defensible across cultures and centuries, not only within a 7th-century tribal context.

Reflective Question for Muslims:

> If God commands mercy, patience, and forgiveness, why do the earliest Islamic biographies repeatedly portray lethal punishment for words—while Jesus taught, “Love your enemies… pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44)?

I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS FOR MUSLIMS — FOR KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING

Before I ask my questions, let me clearly lay out the background.

Before Islam, Arabia was deeply pagan. The Kaʿbah itself housed about 360 idols, each representing a deity worshipped by different clans. Among these deities, Allah was known and invoked as a high god, but not worshipped alone. He was approached through idols and intermediaries.

Muhammad’s lineage lived within this religious system.

Muhammad’s father, Abdullah, lived and died before Islam. His very name — ʿAbd-Allah — means “servant of Allah.” This name existed before Islam, proving that Allah was already known and invoked in pre-Islamic Arabia.

Historical Islamic sources themselves affirm that Muhammad’s forefathers practiced pagan worship, not pure monotheism. They did not worship Allah alone as the sole Creator without partners, as Islam later teaches.

After this pagan period, Muhammad emerged and proclaimed Allah as the one true God, Creator of heaven and earth, rejecting idols and intermediaries.

This brings me to my sincere questions.

MY QUESTIONS

1️⃣ What is the difference between the “Allah” worshipped by Muhammad’s father in a pagan system and the “Allah” Muhammad later introduced as the one true God?

Is the difference only in definition, or in identity?

2️⃣ Was the Allah worshipped in pre-Islamic Arabia — alongside idols and intermediaries — the SAME Allah Muhammad preached as the only true God?

If yes, then:

Why were Muhammad’s forefathers condemned as people of Jahiliyyah (ignorance)?

Why were Muhammad parents Abdullahi and Amina are in hell according to the Hadith?

Why were their religious practices rejected?

If no, then:

Does that not mean the concept of Allah was redefined, not merely “restored”?

3️⃣ Is there only ONE Allah across history, or were there DIFFERENT understandings of Allah before and after Islam?

Because:

Using the same name does not guarantee the same being.

A word may remain the same, while the object of worship changes.

FINAL CLARIFICATION

The issue here is not language.
Everyone agrees that:

Allah (Arabic),

Ubangiji (Hausa),

God (English)

are linguistic terms.

The real issue is THEOLOGY:

👉 Who exactly was being worshipped?
👉 How was that “god” understood?
👉 Was he worshipped alone or through idols?

A name alone does not sanctify worship.
Calling an idol “Allah” does not make it the Creator of heaven and earth.

So, respectfully and sincerely, I ask again:

Is the Allah of pre-Islamic pagan Arabia the same as the Allah of Islamic monotheism — or not?

Just tell me.
