Suleja Media Forum Members Begin Specialized Training in ICT and Investigative Journalism
Registered members of the Suleja Media Forum have commenced a specialized capacity-building training programme in computer studies, investigative journalism, and other professional journalism courses at the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) Training Centre in Suleja.
The training is designed to strengthen participants’ competencies in modern media practice, with a strong focus on the effective use of digital tools, data gathering techniques, in-depth investigative research, and adherence to ethical and professional journalism standards.
Upon successful completion of the programme, NITDA will award certificates to participants. The certification is expected to enhance their professional credibility and demonstrate their competence in contemporary media practice.
This initiative represents a significant step toward building the capacity of Media Forum members to adapt to the evolving demands of the digital media landscape, while improving the accuracy, credibility, and overall quality of their reports.
