“Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to some groups of them, the splendor of worldly life, by which We test them. But the provision of your Lord is better and more lasting.”
— Qur'an 20:131

This hadith teaches us about gratitude and protecting the heart...When we constantly look at people who have more money, more beauty, more success... our heart starts to feel.. “I have less.”... “Why not me?”....“Allah didn’t give me enough.”....And slowly, we begin to undervalue Allah's blessings 💔

But when we look at those who have less than us, less health, less security, less food,less family support.....our heart softens and says
“Alhamdulillah… Allah has given me so much.”
And it fills us with shukr 🌸

The one who looks down in dunya becomes elevated in akhirah ✨

May Allah make us among those who see His blessings clearly and never belittle them.
