Alkanol are classified as primary (1°), secondary (2°), or tertia�ry (3°) depending on the number of carbon atoms bonded to the carbon bearing the —OH group.

Primary Alkanol: In a primary alkanol, the hydroxyl group (OH) is attached to a carbon atom that is bonded to only one other carbon atom.

Secondary Alkanol: In a secondary alkanol, the hydroxyl group (OH) is attached to a carbon atom that is bonded to two other carbon atoms.

In a tertiary alkanol, the hydroxyl group (OH) is attached to a carbon atom that is bonded to three other carbon atoms.

STOP BLACKMAILING TEACHERS!
I was in a gathering recently ( my daughter's school PTA meeting) and the chairman of the PTA who is a clergy during his remarks asked teachers to manage their present pay that things are hard and he spoilt the remarks by saying "after all teachers reward in heaven". I said to myself that if pastors and imams receive their reward here on earth why should teachers wait to receive their reward is in heaven? beside the reality is that not all teachers will make it to heaven. So my beloved colleagues in the twenty first century things you must do
(1) Improve and develop yourself
(2) Make yourself relevant
