YOU'RE NOT FAILING, YOU’RE JUST IN THE WRONG MOVIE

Few years ago, I was featured in a Christian content by a wonderful group who were and still are doing great things for the Kingdom.

Now, if you know me well, you already know that acting is NOT my ministry. 😂

I have like 10% passion for acting, but somehow I said, “Let me just give it a try.”

And guess what role they gave me?
A CRIMINAL. 😭😂

The first battle started with the costume.
They brought an armless top for me.

I said:
“NO O! Why will I expose my hand for the camera? Abeg, find long sleeve for me.” 😂😂

I was looking at the other actors happily wearing their costumes, while I was negotiating my own with the costume department

Then came the actual acting.… it was warfare. 😭
They gave me my script. It's either I dint add passion to it so it flows naturally or I forgot it the lines. Some how we finished the shooting and it was nice shaa. 😉

At that point, I knew this acting thing wasn't my calling.

But I learned something from that experience:
You will naturally struggle with things you have little or no passion for.

And I'm not saying everything you do must be easy because you're passionate about it. No.
Passion doesn't eliminate discipline.

But there is a difference between something being difficult because you're learning and something constantly draining you because it simply isn't your lane.

Young people, stop trying to become EVERYTHING.
Calm down!

You don't have to be good at everything.
There are things you will admire in others that God NEVER designed you for

And that's okay.
The goal isn't to become a jack of all trades with 17 abandoned projects.

Discover your passion. Discover your strengths. DISCOVER WHERE YOUR GRACE IS. THEN INVEST HEAVILY THERE.

Because when you find your lane, you'll still work Hard but the work will feel meaningful.

Don't spend your entire life forcing yourself to wear a costume that was never designed for you.

Some of us are not failing.
We're just acting in the wrong movie. 😂🔥

YOU CANNOT FOLLOW JESUS AND KEEP FEEDING YOUR OLD LIFE

Young people, listen carefully.
One of the most dangerous mistakes you can make after deciding to follow Jesus is thinking you can keep your old lifestyle and somehow remain spiritually unaffected.

You cannot keep one foot in Christ and the other in the world and expect there to be no consequences.

You say, “I have given my life to Jesus,” but you still keep the same friends who constantly pull you into sin.

You say, “I am born again,” but you keep feeding your mind with the same music, content and conversations that fuel your old desires.

You say, “I love Jesus,” but you remain in that $3xual relationship, telling yourself, “We will stop eventually.”

Eventually is how many people fall.
Sin rarely destroys a person in one day.
It starts with small compromises.

You stop praying as much.
The Word no longer excites you.
Conviction becomes irritating.
What used to trouble your conscience becomes normal.
Then what was once a struggle becomes a lifestyle.

And one day, you look at yourself and wonder:
“How did I get this far?”

The problem was not that you stopped loving Jesus overnight.

You kept feeding the part of you that Jesus was asking you to crucify.

Jesus did not save you so that you could become a slightly improved version of your old self.
He called you into a new life.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away…”
2 Corinthians 5:17

This does not mean you hate unbelievers or become isolated from the world. Jesus ate with sinners, but He never became like them.

You can love your friends without allowing them to disciple you.
You can be around the world without allowing the world to get inside you.

But if a relationship, friendship, environment, song, habit or entertainment repeatedly pulls you away from Christ, stop calling it harmless.

It may be costing you more than you realize.
You cannot keep playing with what Jesus died to deliver you from.

If you have chosen Jesus, then choose Him completely.

Leave what needs to be left.
Cut what needs to be cut.
Delete what needs to be deleted.
Walk away from what keeps pulling you backward.

Because sometimes the greatest evidence that you have truly encountered Christ is not what you started doing

but what you finally became willing to leave behind.

Don't just say you are following Jesus. Make sure your life is actually going in His direction.

YOUR CIRCLE CAN SHAPE YOUR DESTINY

Not everyone who comes into your life is sent to help you.

Some relationships are divine connections, but others can become destiny distractions. That is why you must be intentional about the people you allow to have access to your heart, your mind, and your future.

I remember one time during Contact, I prayed for a young girl, and immediately after the prayer, she heard God instructing her to cut ties with a particular girl. God even revealed the girl's name to her.

When she later shared the encounter with me, she confirmed that this particular friend had been a negative influence on her life.

Thank God she obeyed the instruction.
Sometimes, God will reveal what you have been too emotionally attached to recognize.

Be careful.
Not every friend who laughs with you is for you.
Not everyone who calls you "brother" or "sister" is helping your destiny.
Not every relationship deserves unlimited access to your life.

The people around you can influence your convictions, your habits, your decisions, your spiritual life, and ultimately the direction of your destiny.

The Bible says:
Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good Character. 1 Corinthians 15:33

So don't choose friends merely because they are fun to be around.

Ask yourself:
Who am I becoming because of the people around me?

Do they make you love God more or less?
Do they challenge you toward purpose or pull you toward compromise?
Do they strengthen your convictions or constantly weaken them?

And don't be so desperate for companionship that you keep people God is asking you to release.

Sometimes losing a friend is not losing something it is protecting something.
Young people, be intentional about your relationships.

Your destiny is too valuable to hand over to careless friendships.

KINGDOM MATURITY IS NOT MEASURED BY GIFTS

Maturity in the Kingdom is not a function of spiritual gifts. While the gifts of the Spirit are wonderful and necessary, they are not proof of a believer's maturity.

As the name suggests, they are gifts of the Spirit freely given by God to those who have received the Holy Spirit. They are not rewards for spiritual maturity.

So, what then is the true measure of maturity in the Kingdom?

2 Corinthians 3:18 gives us the answer. Kingdom maturity is measured by the degree to which we are being transformed into the image of Christ.

In other words, maturity is seen in how much our character, attitudes, and conduct resemble Jesus. The more we think, speak, love, forgive, and live like Christ, the more spiritually mature we become.
What, then, are the visible signs of this maturity?

The answer is simple: the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23).
A tree is not considered mature because of the size of its branches or leaves, but because it begins to bear fruit. Likewise, a believer is not recognized as mature merely because they operate in spiritual gifts, but because the fruit of the Spirit is evident in their life.

Finally, what produces this FRUIT?
I will mention one

-The Word of God.
1 Peter 2:2 says:
"Like newborn babies, crave the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow up into your salvation."

Just as healthy food nourishes a child into maturity, the Word of God nourishes the believer, producing Christlike character over time.

Don't pursue gifts at the expense of growth. Pursue Christ. For the ultimate evidence of spiritual maturity is not how powerfully you minister, but how faithfully you resemble Jesus.

YOU ARE NOT SMALL, THE BIBLE CALLS YOU A NATION

Stop measuring yourself by your age, your bank account, your background, or your current influence.

Heaven has never defined you by your present size.

When God spoke to Abraham, He didn't just promise him Children He said, "I will make of thee a great nation" (Genesis 12:2). From one man, God saw a nation.

The same pattern appears throughout Scripture. God looks beyond what is visible and speaks according to purpose.

As a believer, you are not meant to think like someone struggling to survive. You are called to carry influence, shape lives, and impact generations.

A nation has a culture. A nation has influence. A nation has citizens. A nation affects other nations.

IF GOD HAS PLACED HIS SPIRIT WITHIN YOU, THEN YOUR LIFE WAS NEVER DESIGNED TO END WITH YOU.

There are people your obedience will bless, lives your prayers will change, and generations your faithfulness will impact.

Stop talking like a victim. Stop thinking small. Stop living beneath your calling.

You are not just another young person trying to find your way.
You carry the seed of a nation.

STEPHEN, THE MAN WHO SERVED TABLES BUT CARRIED FIRE

One of the greatest misconceptions among young believers is this: "God will use me when I become a pastor."

Stephen destroys that mindset.
He wasn't an apostle. He wasn't a prophet. He wasn't leading a church. His assignment was Simple serve tables.

Yet while serving, he became a man full of faith, full of the Holy Spirit, full of wisdom, and full of power. Through him, God performed great signs and wonders.

Think about that.
The man assigned to distribute food was also casting out darkness, confounding religious scholars with wisdom they couldn't resist, and revealing Christ with extraordinary boldness.

THIS GENERATION CELEBRATES POSITIONS. HEAVEN CELEBRATES SURRENDER.

The question is not, "What is your title?" The question is, "What are you full of?"

Many young people are waiting for a microphone before seeking the anointing. They are waiting for a pulpit before building intimacy with God. But Stephen teaches us that POWER IS NOT A REWARD FOR POSITION ; IT IS THE OVERFLOW OF A LIFE YIELDED TO GOD.

Stop saying, "I'm just an usher."
"I'm just in the media team."
"I'm just a student."
"I'm just a worker."

There is no "just" in the Kingdom.

A believer who serves faithfully, walks in holiness, and is filled with the Holy Spirit can become a vessel through whom heaven invades the earth.

DON'T CHASE TITLES. CHASE GOD.

Because when a man is full of God, even the assignment of serving tables becomes a platform for the supernatural.

Stephen served tables, but history remembers him as a man who carried the power of God.

Be so full of God that your assignment becomes secondary to the Presence you carry.

THE GIDEON MINDSET

"The LORD is with you, mighty warrior." Judges 6:12

Gideon was hiding in a winepress, threshing wheat out of fear. Yet the first words the angel spoke were not about his location, but about his identity:

"Mighty warrior."
Gideon immediately argued back.
"My clan is the weakest... and I am the least in my father's house." (Judges 6:15)

Notice the contrast.
Gideon saw weakness. Heaven saw strength.

Gideon saw insignificance. Heaven saw leadership.
Gideon saw his limitations. Heaven saw his assignment.

Many of us live with a Gideon mindset. We define ourselves by our background, failures, family history, education, or current circumstances. But God doesn't call us according to our present Condition He calls us according to His purpose.

YOUR IDENTITY IS NOT DETERMINED BY YOUR INSECURITY BUT BY GOD'S INTENTION.

The greatest obstacle to fulfilling your destiny may not be your enemies; it may be the way you see yourself.

Until your perception aligns with heaven's perspective, you may continue hiding from the very assignment you were created to fulfill.

STOP INTRODUCING YOURSELF BY YOUR WEAKNESSES.
Start believing what God has already declared about you.

Heaven has never mistaken your identity. The question is: will you believe what heaven says about you?

YOUR TRAINING IS LOCATION-DEPENDENT

Everybody wants the platform.
Very few people embrace the place that prepares them for it.

We admire Joseph on the throne, but forget that prison was part of his training.

We celebrate David defeating Goliath, but overlook the lonely fields where he learned to worship, lead, and fight lions.

We applaud Moses at the Red Sea, but ignore the forty years in the wilderness that shaped his character.

Here's the lesson:
God doesn't just assign purpose. He also assigns the environment that prepares you for it.

The school you're in. The church you're planted in. The family you were born into. The city you're living in. Even the season you're going through.

Each may be carrying a lesson you cannot learn anywhere else.

Many young people are in a hurry to leave every uncomfortable place. But not every difficult location is a wrong location. Sometimes, the discomfort is the classroom.

Before God changes your position, He often changes your capacity.

DON'T DESPISE THE SEASON WHERE NOBODY KNOWS YOUR NAME. HIDDEN PLACES OFTEN PRODUCE THE STRONGEST PEOPLE.

Your next level is not only determined by your gifts; it's also determined by whether you allow God to finish your training.

So instead of asking, "God, when will You take me out?"
Ask, "Lord, what are You trying to teach me here?"

Because if you graduate from the lesson, the location will eventually change.

Don't leave the classroom before you've passed the test.
For educational and discipleship purposes.
