TIGMEIN - Kaduna North Chapter Addresses Unfulfilled Promises by Hon. Bello El-Rufai.

Kaduna, Nigeria – October 15, 2024.

The Kaduna North Chapter of the Tijjaniyya Grass-roots Mobilization and Empowerment Initiative of Nigeria (TIGMEIN) wishes to inform the general public about the unfortunate treatment received from Hon. Bello El-Rufai, the Member representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency.

Before the election, Hon.Bello El-Rufai held a meeting with the above named organization, seeking our members and Tijjaniyya followers in Kaduna North's votes and promising the organization with the following:
1- Replace the carpet in the Kano road, Central Mosque.
2 - Donate a vehicle to ease the activities of the organization
3 - Support the organizations Skills acquisition and empowerment programs.
4 - Include the organization in all its community and religious support programs.

However, since his election, 16 months on, He has failed to fulfil any of the mentioned promises.
Despite numerous reminders, our efforts have been met with either no response or responses that are disrespectful and dismissive.

TIGMEIN Kaduna North Chapter is deeply disappointed by this turn of events. We had high hopes that Hon. Bello El-Rufai would be a reliable partner in our efforts to support the Tijjaniyya community. Unfortunately, his actions have shown otherwise.

We are now notifying our members and the general public of this situation. We believe it is important to hold our elected officials accountable and ensure they keep their promises to the people they serve.
