Gen. Martin Luther Agwai (Rtd) Appointed Sarkin Yaki Ham by Kpop Ham, HRH Danladi Gyet Maude

In a significant move to further strengthen security and development in Hamland, His Royal Highness Kpop Ham, Dr. Danladi Gyet Maude, has appointed General Martin Luther Agwai (Rtd) as the Sarkin Yaki Ham, a traditional title that translates to “War Leader” or “Chief of Defense.”

The appointment was made in recognition of Gen. Agwai’s outstanding record of service to the nation and is expected to bring strategic insights to the chiefdom’s approach to security and peacebuilding.

HRH Danladi Gyet Maude, a revered monarch known for his visionary leadership and dedication to community welfare, expressed confidence in Gen. Agwai’s ability to offer valuable counsel on security matters. Under the leadership of Kpop Ham, the chiefdom has prioritized people-oriented policies, peace initiatives, and grassroots development, including the appointment of capable district heads like Girom Yahaya Ali to oversee local progress.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Kpop Ham noted that the appointment aligns with his vision of involving experienced leaders in shaping a safer and more prosperous future for Hamland.

Gen. Agwai, a former Chief of Defence Staff and respected international peacekeeper, is expected to leverage his experience to advise on matters of local and regional security. His appointment has been widely praised by citizens and traditional leaders alike.

The monarch, who is also a recipient of the prestigious DINMA 2006 Award, one of the PSR National Awards, has continually demonstrated commitment to good governance, unity, and development in both Hamland and Nigeria at large.

Best wishes have poured in for Gen. Agwai as he takes on his new role. Many hope that his collaboration with Kpop Ham will further entrench peace, stability, and progress in the region.
