There is this pool-bar behind my bedroom.
Whenever there is an ongoing saga online about musicians, the DJ will start playing the music of the artist that is trending.
I remember the time of Mohbad, when Mohbad died. While the rally was going on online, this guy kept hitting Mohbad songs back to back. So bad that I almost got depressed.
Then it got to Davido's "crying in the strawberry pyjamas" era. Every morning na "Shekpe" we dey hear for straight one week. Some days I go follow vibe but other days, it is just noice pollution.
Fast forward to Speed Darlington and Burna Boy, he has been playing Burna Boy songs over and over again for a while now. We no too vex because we're already used to it. Besides there's this soothing sound that comes with Burna's voice, so.... okay!
Also, it stopped for a while after that Burna Boy and Chief Priest's saga.
The problem now is that, since he heard that Speed Darlington has been released from prison, na Akpi music e dey play since.
Someone please make it stop because Ibuprofen ain't working no more. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
