๐ŸšจโšฝBREAKING: Kendry Pรกez made an instant impact tonight for Chelsea! ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ’™

The Ecuadorian came off the bench for Chelsea U21 tonight and immediately made his presence felt, providing the assist for Harrison Bettoniโ€™s goal in the stoppage time. ๐Ÿ…ฐ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Chelsea may have lost the game 2-1 to Wycombe, but Pรกez gave Blues fans something to smile about.

A brilliant assist off the bench โ€” exactly the kind of impact you want to see from a young player trying to make his mark.

Keep going, Kendry. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡จ

๐ŸšจโšฝPalestra could finally make his Chelsea debut on Friday. ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ’™

Marco Palestra has progressed to the final stages of his recovery from the quad injury that has kept him out since pre-season.

There is growing optimism that he could be included in the squad for Brentford.

Xabi Alonso has previously said that if Palestra is not ready for Brentford, he should be available for Bournemouth.

So Friday could be the moment Chelsea fans finally get to see what the young Italian can bring. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

And with Chelsea needing more defensive options, his return could come at a very good time.

Chelsea are already working behind the scenes on defensive and midfield reinforcements. ๐Ÿ”ต

Three left-sided centre-backs currently linked with the club for a potential January or summer move:

โ€ข Alessandro Bastoni โ€” Inter Milan
โ€ข Strahinja Pavloviฤ‡ โ€” AC Milan
โ€ข Santiago Murillo โ€” Nottingham Forest

Defence and midfield are clearly the two priorities, with Chelsea already exploring several options ahead of the next windows.

๐ŸšจโšฝChristopher Nkunku has finally explained what made life difficult at Chelsea. ๐Ÿ‘€

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ โ€œChelsea was more like, โ€˜You need to stay in your positionโ€™. If you play as a winger, you need to stay on the touchline and just do one-on-one.โ€

But Nkunku says that is not how he naturally plays.

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ โ€œI need to switch position and drift.โ€

And honestly, that explains a lot.

Nkunku is at his best when he can move into different areas, combine with teammates and find spaces rather than being stuck to one position.

He also refused to blame Chelsea completely, admitting: โ€œI could do things better also.โ€

No excuses. Just an honest explanation of why things never fully clicked.

Do you think Chelsea failed to use Nkunku properly? ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ’™

๐ŸšจJohn Terry: "Estevao looked good, he looked sharp. He looks a bit bigger and stronger, I saw him in the gym the other day and he looks like heโ€™s developing and getting stronger. He needs more game time soon which I think heโ€™s going to get. I think rotation will be important as the season goes on.

But I think heโ€™s that type of player that when he gets back into the team he cements his place and then struggles to get dropped or taken out the side, heโ€™s that good. Heโ€™s a great lad, loves Chelsea and I think heโ€™s a top star."

"Following the incident in the 60th minute of Sunday's Premier League fixture between Manchester United and Manchester City at Old Trafford, we can provide clarification regarding Erling Haaland's awarded goal.

"The on-field decision was offside against Erling Haaland - that was checked by VAR and he was found to be in an onside position.

"In the same attack, it was established that Enzo Fernandez did not play the ball and therefore that makes any offside offence subjective, however, on this occasion, the VAR did not recognise the likely impact of his position and should have recommended an on-field review.

"Contact has been made with Manchester United this evening to acknowledge what we deem is an error of judgement. A review of the incident will take place. Pro Ref acknowledge and make a statement of apology."
