Governor Uba Sani hosted today’s townhall meeting on the 2025 Budget draft tagged “Sustaining Rural Transformation and Inclusive Development”.

Discussions at the Town Hall Meeting were open, robust and incisive. Stakeholders made suggestions and inputs into the proposed 2025 Budget. They also commended Governor Uba Sani’s administration for the implementation and high performance of the 2024 Budget which has impacted on the lives of the citizens of Kaduna State. The Governor assured the stakeholders that the collated suggestions will be considered and incorporated into the 2025 Multi-Year Budget.

The Governor said 2025 shall be devoted to the consolidation of the progress so far made in opening up the rural areas through massive infrastructural development. He added that every citizen of Kaduna State deserves to live a better life.

TODAY'S ENGAGEMENT:

Today, Hon. Dr. Manzo Daniel Maigari, the Executive Chairman of Kachia Local Government Area, attended the Kaduna State Town Hall Meeting alongside H.E Senator Uba Sani Local Government Chairmen, and other top government officials. The meeting, held at Hotel Seventeen in Kaduna, focused on presenting the 2025 Proposed Budget.

Organized by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission, the town hall meeting aimed to engage government officials, stakeholders, and citizens in the budget planning process. This ensures accountability, promotes public dialogue, and aligns the state's financial priorities with the people's needs.

The event provided a platform for discussions on the proposed budget, which is expected to address various sectors, Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in the 2025 budget.

The Executive Chairman Kachia Local Government council Hon. Aaron Bako has felicitates with Mrs. Jummai C. Bako and Mallam Shehu Usman Salihu on their well deserved appointment as Permanent Secretary Establishment, Office of the Head of Service and Permanent Secretary Civil Service Commission respectively.

Hon. Aaron Bako describes the appointments as well deserved and a way forward to the good people of Kachia, and Kaduna state as whole. and he further express self-assurance that Mrs. Jummai C. Bako and Mallam Shehu Usman Salihu will deliver their assignment in office successfully.

Earlier today in Kachia, the Executive Chairman Kachia LGA Hon. Aaron Bako joined the Honourable Commissioner of Agriculture Murtala Mohammed Dabo, Managing Director Kaduna Agricultural Development Agency (KADA) Mallam Muhammad Rili to flag off the distribution Of free agrochemicals recommended by scientists at IAR to Ginger farmers in Kaduna State that are battling with disease outbreak that's destroying their farms.

The Chairman sympathized with the farmers for this ugly experience and assured them of government readiness to intervene in anyway they can to bring an end to this deathly disease affecting our ginger farms.

He thanked the state government under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani and the Hon. Commissioner for Agriculture for their quick intervention and response, it shows they have farmers at heart, and they are ready to do everything possible to bring an end to the situation. The Chairman said.
