2024 BELONGS TO BARAU JIBRIL- AS THE REST JUST BORROWED TIME...
..The man who carried 2024 on his back ( And barely broke a sweet).

Is indeed a year to remember as 2024 has come, run-out and left a lasting impact on the activities of Nigerians in different fields of human endeavour especially in politics where several issues evolved that glorified, terrified, tensed up, shake up, contriving, and in some cases almost set the country on fire along religious and tribal lines and in the end we grief, shout, argue, attacks, exchange rational and irrational view based on our perception and intellectual abilities, not mentioned wonders and intellectual inputs of our best hands in both politics and cooperate world.
But we survived the hurdles and strongly moved on to new year that hopefully would bring succour and recipe to our collective bargaining as one powerful nation.
In all this turbulence journey of our democratic culture that is still flourishing since it's return in 1999, despites the traumatic intrigues and mismanagement of our resources by our assumed to be a strong democratic players, we still endure and pushed on hoping for the very best that is still yet to come in our dream to have a prosperous nation.
But despite all that, there abound some extraordinarily politicians who are naturally pushed and driven by the undoubted spirit of patriotism who are always dying and craving to have a better Nigeria that we all should be proud of. A politicians whose action and activities has been seen and adjusted to be the greatest sacrifice and demonstration of determined sousl that are eager to see our nation become solid, strong and prosperous despite all the hurdles we have gone through in our turbulence journey as a democratic world. One individual who undeniably belonged to such circle of patriotic citizen with different mindset and strong zeal to be different is the current Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin aka Maliya.
When the new government was formed with President Bola Ahmed Tunubu on the helms of its affairs, Barau Jibrin was fortunately appointed by his distinguished colleagues to be the second in command in the apex chamber of our polity, the Senate. He didn't only performed extremely well with sufficient mastery of the job that was commended and appreciated by all and sundry, but also displayed an absolute power of delivering a dividend of democracy to the people of his Senatorial zone and the state generally which made him an object of emulation among his colleagues and the watching world .
But he is one politicians that survived the hurdles of political attacks, manuver, plots and counterplot of opposition who are blindly desperate and eager to curtail his excess and deprived him the time and energy to enjoy his growing political influence and power which are gathering momentum and glowing all over him in the political horizon of the state politics and the nation at large. His fear and anticipation of his political punch is becoming a wisdom to the opposition elements in the state. As such every lie, unfounded and unsubstantiated allegations and attacks must thrown at him to brings his political downfall before it's late. But seem like it's becoming increasingly difficult due to his mastery of the game and ability to weather the storm and move on.
The man performance as Deputy Senate President and a legislator in the national assembly was simply amazing and awesome. He was recently honoured with an award of Best Senator in Developmental Bills Presentation. He has an unmatched number of bills in the said year with twenty two presentations as whole. Moreover, the Northwestern part of the country would forever be grateful to him been a Senator that initiated, presented and follow to the logical conclusion on a Bill to establish North West Development Agency which was recently signed into law by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Not mentioned debates, counter debates, motions and any other issues that has to do with legislation.
Globally known to have performed several constituency projects in his Senatorial zone that are impressive and highly commendable. Ranging from building network of roads, federal government Institutions, electrification projects, hospitals, football stadiums, religious centres, numerous empowerments that are second to none in the history of our political dispensation. That's parts from sponsoring students to study oversea and other contributions to Security apparatus across the state which engulfed billions of naira. Suffice to say boldly without fear of contradiction that the Senator standout to be the best in the entire country when it comes developmental projects executed in his Senatorial zone and beyond.
It was widely suggested and justifiably speculated that the Senator is presently eyeing and preparing to contest for the seat of no1. Citizen of the state comes 2027. Though the widely spread news is still unsubstantiated, but the opposition elements are not leaving any stone unturned. The Senator political moves proves to be heading that way as the man is busy recieving defectors from opposition party in droves as it has become a daily occurrence in his political domain. Thousands upon thousands are been converted to the Apc with amazing speed. As such the ruling party are running shelter sketch searching for anything incriminating to tie him with no avail.
The recent northern outburst and castigating targeted against him after the fall out on taxation debacle at the national assembly was pointed towards the direction of opposition. The way and manner his historic and patriotic action was misinterpreted and misinformed suggested the deep involvement of opposition party. But the way and manner he steadily and boldly mastered the storm and come out unscratched and untouched, marvelled and enticed the viewing world wondering where such politician with iron bonded mind sprang from.
Suffice to say that the man Barau jibrin not only become the most talk about politician in 2024, but also justifiably clinched and deserved to be single out the Most performing politician of the year.
Let's keep our fingers cross as many more marvellous and nerve racking events are about to be unfolded from the confine of this amazing and undoubtedly tantalising Senator. We are watching and waiting.
