At 28, Iya Abubakar became the first Northern-Nigerian to earn a PhD in any field. At 33, he was the only Nigerian appointed as a Professor in the department of Mathematics at ABU, Zaria.

At 37, he was a Head of Department. At 40, he became a VC and retired at 44.

Ma su ƙaryar kare haƙƙin mata suna sukar abinda Hisba take na "operation kau da baɗala" saboda namiji yana cakumar mace ya sata a mota, amma kuma sun yarda likita namiji ya taɓa mace ko mace ta waɗa rijiya/kogi namiji ya shiga ya rungumota ya fito da ita lalura ce, saboda ceton rai ne ko lafiya, sun manta wancan na Hisba shi kuma ceton lahira ne.

Shin da a ceto lahirarka (wacce rayuwa ce har abada) da a ceto ranka a duniya (wacce komai daɗewa sai ka barta) wanne ne yafi? Kamar yadda mace ba zata iya tsamo mace daga rijiya/kogi ba, haka kuma ba zata iya cakumar mace ta ɗora ta a mota ba, sai ai amfani da namiji bisa lalura.
