Faith means hoping on God, trusting and believing.
God made certain promises to us
1. Promise of salvation: To be saved, confess and believe
2. Promise of forgiveness of sin
3. Promises of provision
4. Promises of Grace been sufficient 2 cor12: 9
5. Promises of eternal life/ Freedom of death

Grace means favour, excellence

How to build our faith
1. Faith comes by repentance
2. Faith by hearing the word of God 2 cor5: 17–19, Rom10:17. It comes with the intimacy with God
3. Studying the word of God
4. Confession of the word of God

Importance of Faith
Faith causes God to act,
1. Faith gives us optimism
2. Faith hides us all benefits eg. Healing, prosperity etc.
3. Faith gives us hope to focus on God
