A SHINING EXAMPLE OF TRUE LEADERSHIP THANK YOU, HON. SAGIR KOKI🙏
In times where politics often overshadows compassion, Honorable Koki Sagir has proven that true leadership is rooted in empathy, humility, and service to all not just one's immediate supporters or constituency.
Despite being the representative of Kano Municipal, Hon. Sagir Koki extended his hand of generosity to every Senior Special Reporter and Special Reporter across Kano State. That act alone speaks volumes. It wasn't politics — it was pure humanity.
I come from Takai Local Government Area, and we are not even from the same constituency. Yet I was fortunate to benefit from the goodwill of a man. What does this tell us?
It tells us that leadership is not about “your people” only. It's about all people. It's not about House lines or political loyalty. It's about recognizing need, and responding to it without asking for anything in return.
Some leaders walk past the suffering around them, blind to the cries of their own constituents simply because “they are not their boys” or “they belong to another camp.” But Hon. Sagir Koki showed us a different path a better path.
He reminded us that holding a political title doesn’t mean you're above needing help. And helping someone in a high position doesn’t diminish your value it multiplies your legacy.
If more Leaders could lead with this level of selflessness, imagine the kind of Kano State even Nigeria we could build.
To Honorable Sagir Qoqi Thank you. Thank you for reminding us what leadership looks like. Thank you for showing us that kindness still exists in power. May God bless you, increase your wisdom, and strengthen your ability to serve with even greater impact.
As beneficiaries of your goodwill, we too will do our best to pass it on. Your action is not just a gesture it is a movement. And we are proud to be part of it.
