Labor feeds you. Knowledge frees you.
When I received some update videos from our site engineer yesterday, this scene caught my attention.
I watched these men sweating, half-naked, covered in mud.
Their backs bending to carry blocks to build a kind of house they may never own.
And I asked myself: Why are they poor and others are not?
We are both humans.
They probably pray more than others.
They are probably better human beings than most people.
They probably wake up earlier than others.
So why does one man break his body for survival, while another bends reality to serve him?
The bitter truth is this: life doesn’t reward holiness, or effort, or even suffering. Life rewards alignment with power, knowledge, and strategy.
Please, read that again.
We were all told a lie….that if you work hard you will beat poverty.
But hard work without leverage is slavery.
Hard work without knowledge is punishment.
Hard work without strategy is a curse passed from fathers to sons.
The poor man prays for strength to carry more blocks tomorrow.
The rich man prays for wisdom to make others carry his.
That is the difference.
Not God. Not luck. Not destiny. It’s the temerity to be ambitious. It’s the gut to dream in chaos and remind yourself that you too can become the Oga.
It is a mind that refuses to be trapped in the cycle of endless labor.
It is the courage to say: “I will not die carrying another man’s blocks and bags of cement.”
So ask yourself today: are you really working… or are you just breaking yourself for nothing?
