NOA KADUNA HOLDS SENSITISATION CAMPAIGN ON DRUG ABUSE
The National Orientation Agency (NOA), Kaduna State Office, has organised a sensitisation campaign to educate the public on the dangers of drug abuse and domestic violence.
The campaign was held today, Wednesday, September 9, 2026, and commenced from the Kaduna State Ministry of Justice before proceeding through some major streets in Kaduna metropolis.
The routes covered included Yakubu Gowon Way, Ahmadu Bello Way, Zaria Road and Kano Road.
Government agencies and stakeholders that participated in the campaign included the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), and other relevant stakeholders.
During the campaign, participants used placards, banners and awareness songs to sensitise members of the public, particularly young people, on the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of maintaining peace and harmony within families.
The NOA emphasised the need for continuous sensitisation programmes in collaboration with relevant government agencies and communities to address the challenges of drug abuse and domestic violence.
