Before music brought him fame, Augustine Ojinji reportedly trained as a shoemaker (cobbler) and also s0ld music records and tapes to make a living. Coming from a humble background, he later devoted himself fully to music after displaying remarkable talent during ceremonies, traditional gatherings, and community events.

In the early 1970s, he co-founded the Ubulu International Band of Nigeria, alongside other musicians, including Agu Risky. The band became known for blending Ukwuani/Igbo traditional rhythms with highlife music, creating a sound that resonated deeply with many people. Their major breakthrough came with the release of โ€œUkwuani Specialโ€ around 1976, which helped establish his fame.

King Ubulu was also admired for his energetic dancing style and captivating stage performances. Many people found it remarkable that although he reportedly stuttered while speaking, he sang fluently and confidently while performing.

Even after his p@ssing in 2004, King Ubulu remains an important cultural icon among the Ukwuani and Anioma people. His music continues to be played during ceremonies, burials, celebrations, and cultural events across Delta State. He is remembered as one of the pioneers of Anioma highlife music in Nigeria.

The name โ€œLove A.U.โ€ became his popular stage identity. The initials โ€œA.U.โ€ referred to Augustine Ubulu (Augustine Ojinji Ubulu), while the word โ€œLoveโ€ reflected the affectionate, emotional, and community-centered nature of his music and personality. Over time, fans fondly called him King Love A.U. or simply Love A.U.

May the s0ul of this Ukwuani music icon continue to restinpeace. His legacy lives on through his timeless music. One factual note: the explanation of how the name โ€œLove A.U.โ€ originated is not firmly documented publicly, so itโ€™s better presented as a commonly understood explanation rather than a confirmed historical fact.

These are some of the major streets in Kwale Town. As can be clearly seen, the electric poles and W!res are still largely intact, except for a few p0les that may have f@llen due to he@vy rainfall or accยกdents. There is no visible evidence of the widespread vยถndยถlism claimed by His Excellency, G0vern0r Sheriff Oborevwori.

This raises serious concerns that the information presented to the G0vern0r may be ยกnaccurate or mยกsleadยกng. It is possible that some individuals or contractors allegedly entrusted with fuร—nds to carry out electricity-related projects in Kwale may not have exeรทcuted the work as expected. Instead of completing the project, they may have reported that the people of Kwale vยถndยถlized electrical installations, when in reality, little or no w0rk may have been d0ne.

The people of Kwale deserve transparency, accountability, and proper development. We respectfully call on His Excellency to th0r0ughly investigate this matter and h0ld those responsible accountable. Public fu+nds meant for c0mmunity development should be used for their intended purpose, and citizens should not be unfairly blยถmed for vยถndยถlism when the facts on the ground appear to suggest otherwise.

The people of Kwale deserve reliable electricity infrastructure, honest leadership, and proper oversight of projects carried out in their community.
