Eid-el-Kabir 2026: Naija Mirror CEO, Aliyu Muhammad Adam, Calls for National Unity, Urges FG to Settle Workers’ Salary Arrears and Strengthen Welfare System
The Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director of Naija Mirror News Service Ltd, Aliyu Muhammad Adam, has called on Nigerians to deepen unity, peace, and mutual understanding as Muslims across the country mark the 2026 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In a strongly worded Eid goodwill message issued Today, the media executive emphasized the need for Nigerians to use the festive period as an opportunity to reinforce national cohesion, promote tolerance, and pray for lasting peace, stability, and socioeconomic progress in the country.
He also made a passionate appeal to the Federal Government and relevant authorities to prioritize the welfare of Nigerian workers by ensuring the prompt payment of salaries and immediate settlement of all outstanding arrears owed to federal civil servants.
According to him, the workforce remains a critical pillar of national productivity and development, stressing that timely remuneration and improved welfare conditions are essential to sustaining efficiency, motivation, and public service delivery across all sectors.
Aliyu further expressed optimism that the Eid-el-Kabir season would usher in divine blessings, renewed hope, and greater prosperity for Nigerians, while urging citizens to remain committed to peaceful coexistence regardless of religious or ethnic differences.
He concluded by extending heartfelt greetings to Muslims and all Nigerians, wishing them a peaceful, joyful, and spiritually fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
