The day my preschool daughter was left behind at school, and somehow, her siblings made it home without her. Imagine my shock when the school bus stopped, the older ones came down, and she wasn’t among them!

Calls started flying, panic mode activated. Moments later, we found out she was still sitting quietly at school, waiting. The school bus was supposed to go back and pick her after dropping off other kids at their houses. Can you imagine...
Thank God i was at home, I quickly ran to their school and carried my baby.

Now the big question is, who should i blame? The school for not cross-checking properly before departure? The teacher for not confirming all pupils were on board? Her siblings that left her behind? Or the driver and minder who assumed everyone was present?

Eight years ago, my baby girl was born almost bald, just a few tiny strands. 4 years ago, i shaved off the little we had cos they started falling off after i applied relaxer.
Today, her hair is full, bushy, and beautiful. A true reminder that growth takes time.
