Title: The Last Coin
In a small village, there lived a poor man named Daniel and his only daughter, Amara. They had very littleājust a small hut, a worn-out bed, and hope that refused to die.
One day, Amara fell seriously ill. Her once bright smile faded, and her weak voice barely called, āPapaā¦ā Danielās heart broke. He carried her from one place to another, begging for help, but every clinic asked for money he didnāt have.
After searching his entire house, Daniel found just one last coin. It was all he had left in the world.
On his way to the pharmacy, he met an old man sitting by the roadside, shivering and hungry. The man whispered, āPlease⦠I havenāt eaten in days.ā
Daniel paused. His heart was torn. This coin could help his daughter⦠but this man might not survive the night.
With trembling hands, Daniel gave the coin to the old man.
āIām sorry,ā he said quietly, āI have nothing else to give.ā
Heavy-h
earted, he returned home, unsure of what to expect. But as he opened the door, he froze.
Amara was sitting up.
āPapa! I feel better,ā she said with a smile.
Daniel was shocked. Just then, there was a knock at the door. A woman stood there with medicine.
āA kind stranger paid for this and said itās for your daughter,ā she explained.
Tears filled Danielās eyes. He realized that his act of kindness had come back to him in a way he never expected.
Moral:
Kindness and compassion, even in our lowest moments, have a way of bringing unexpected miracles.
