Senator Yar'adua Assures Good Representation

Senator Abdul'Aziz Musa Yar'adua of Katsina Central Senatorial District has assured to give good representation to the people of his constituency.

He similarly pointed out that the responsibility shouldered on him now was for his Constituency and the country at large as according to him he is currently wearing a very big shoes by looking at the family he came from.

The Senator was speaking at a grand dinner organised by his wife Hajia Gimbiya Fatima Binta in honour of his swearing-in as Senator of the 10th National Assembly representing Katsina Central held in Abuja.

Senator Yar'adua believed that those who came from far places came to sympathise with him, but not to congratulate him considering the oath he had taken to represent his constituency.

He however enjoined people to pray for him to enable not only him, but the administration to succeed, as according to him, he is now representing not only people of Katsina Central, but the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

"I need your prayers to be able to discharge this responsibility not only me but my other colleagues as well as our President, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu." He said.

He thanked all those who came from far place to felicitate with him and emphasised that with their prayers he would give a very good representation.

He there pray to Allahu SWT to give him wisdom, ability and strength to shoulder the responsibility of his people.

*Senator Yar'adua returns to Katsina from Holy Land*

The Senator elect, Katsina Central Senatorial Zone Colonel Abdul'aziz Musa Yar'adua has returned back to Katsina from the Holy land Saudi Arabia where he observed Umra and Eid-el-Fitr.

The Senator landed at Umaru Musa Yar'adua International Airport Katsina at exactly 5:47pm on Saturday.

He was received at Katsina Airport by his henchmen that include Alhaji Tanimu Gwarjo, Alhaji Ahmed Bello Charanchi, Alhaji Abu Bala Saulawa and Alhaji Umaru Mati.

Others are Director General Kaduna Chamber of Commerce Alhaji Usman Saulawa, Alhaji Umaru AK Umar Farooq , Alhaji Sadiq Sani and Sani Dutsinma.

Alhaji Sani Mohammed Bambale, Mustapha Abdulmumin PRO, Alhaji Kabir Aliyu, Alhaji Shehu Kafinta Shehu Yusuf Saulawa and Dahiru Abu Darma, Abdullahi Hassan were among the notable people that welcomed the Senator back at the Airport.

As he landed at Katsina Airport,the retired Colonel looks energetic, fresh and happy.

Eid el Fitr: Sanator Yar'adua Falicitates with Muslim Ummah

Katsina Central Senator elect, Abdul'aziz Musa Yar'adua has felicitated with Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid el Fitr celebrations.

The Senator, in a Sallah message on Thursday thank Allah for the grace to witness this year's Eid-el-fitri celebration after the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Abdul'Aziz Yar'adua advised Muslims to maximize the utilisation of the lessons learned before, during and after the Ramadan period towards improving our moral character, refine our minds in pursuit of higher ideals for which there should be no turning back.

Yar'adua said with the help of Almighty Allah, we have gone through a period of abstinence, self-discipline and self-reflection as well as self-purification in gratitude and total submission to the will of Allah.

"The spiritual excercise we just concluded has helped us to commit ourselves to wholesome living which entails love for one another regardless of region and ethnicity."

The Senator charged all to become better citizens in line with the teachings of Prophet Muhammed.

On his appointment to head Security and Ceremonial Parade of the Presidential Inauguration Committee by the President elect, Yar'adua pledged to do his best towards ensuring peaceful and colourful parade during the event.

He therefore wish Muslims in Katsina and the country atlarge happy Sallah celebration.

Presidential Inauguration: Yar'adua Heads Security & Ceremonial Parade Committee.

The Senator elect for Katsina Central Senatorial District Colonel Abdul'Aziz Musa Yar'adua Rtd has been appointed to head Security and Ceremonial Parade of the Presidential Inauguration Committee

President elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu nominated the retired military chief and younger brother of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Alongside other 13 nominees that will serve as additional Sub-Committees to plan for a week long Presidential Inauguration event that will usher him and his ‘VP-elect’ Kashim Shettima in as the 5th Executive President and Vice-President of the country.

Tinubu, in a letter to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha also announced a former Senator representing Borno North and current National Deputy Chairman (North) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Abubakar Kyari as the Coordinator and Director of Finance and Budget of the Committee.

Similarly the Executive Director (Businesses Development) at the Nigeria Export-Import (NEXIM) Bank, Hon. Stella Okotete will serve as the head of Secretariat, Planning and Monitoring while Mr. Makinde Araoye, an ex-All Progressives Congress governorship aspirant from Ekiti State will serve as the Director of venue, parades and swearing-in for the week-long event.

The APC Presidential Campaign Spokesperson, Mr. Bayo Onanuga will serve as Head of Media and Publicity, while the Cross Rivers State Commissioner for Health and current National Women Leader of the ruling APC, Dr. Betta Edu will coordinate the medical team for the inauguration committee.

Barr. Zainab Buba Marwa, the wife of former Lagos State Military Governor and current Director General of Nigeria’s Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Gen. Buba Marwa will coordinate the pre-inauguration dinner and gala night for the committee.

Other members of the committee are Samira Saddik (Children’s Day), Abuh Andrew Abuh (Accommodation), Dr. Danladi Bako (Inaugural Lecture), Hajiya Hadiza Mohammed Kabir (Transportation and Logistics), Donald Wokoma (Protocol and Invitation), Bishop Adegbite (Church Service) and Imam Faud (Jumu'at Service)
