Her Excellency, Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi A. Sule in Amba, Arusu and Dari communities of Kokona Local Government Council in continuation of her interaction with women across the state as the March 18th Governorship and State Assembly poll holds in about 48 hours time.

The state First Lady, during the visit paid homage to the Sangari of Amba, Chief Martins Kure Abeshi and Sangari of Dari, Joesph Angulu where the royal fathers assured of their support for Engineer A. A. Sule beyond 2023, calling on their subjects to come out in their numbers and vote for A. A. Sule on Saturday.

The women in all the communities visited by the First Lady reassured of their resolve to vote for A. A. Sule as they are direct beneficiaries of his life touching projects in the state.

NASARAWA FIRST LADY EMPOWERS 300 WOMEN

Nasarawa State First Lady, Hajiya Salifat Abdullahi Sule, has trained 300 vulnerable women in different skills across the three senatorial districts of the state.

Silifat Sule, through her foundation, Salifat Abdullahi-Sule Hope Foundation, conducted training for the women, in partnership with National Directorate of Employment (NDE) and Industrial Training Found (ITF).

She said the gesture was part of her contributions to empowering women for them to contribute meaningfully to their respective families.

Silifat said, “If a woman is in business or trade, she will add value to her family, thereby helping her husband in addressing the needs of the family.

“I feel concerned whenever I discover that a woman does not have job, skill or a business to support her family.

“That is why since God has lifted us, I have rolled out so many empowerment programmes to assist our women.

“My foundation is doing nothing else than empowering vulnerable women and children, to make their lives worthwhile,” she said.

The First Lady donated N20,000 each to the women, all amounting to N6 million, to enable them start their businesses and support their families.

On his part, Nasarawa State Coordinator of NDE, Mr Chris Bamdisa, represented by Mr Shuaibu Gimba, commended Hajiya Silifat Sule for the initiative and continued support to women.

Bamdisa said NDE, in collaboration with the governor’s wife, had trained the 300 women on different skills.

He added that they were trained on how to utilise the money given to them to contribute to the growth of their families, as “getting money is not the problem, but how to utilise it.”

Also speaking, Head of Training of ITF, Lafia office, Nanpoe Bala, who presented paper on catering, advised women to learn about cooking and cleanliness in order to sustain their marriages.

“If a woman is clean, cooks good food and respects her husband, it will be difficult for him to ignore her and be eating outside,”

First Lady receives Migili Women on courtesy visit

Nasarawa State First Lady Silifat Abdullahi Sule has again sued for peace and tolerance among diverse ethnic groups in the state for sustainable development.

She stated this while hosting Migili Women Association in her office on Thursday.

Underscoring the need for sustaining peace in the state, the First Lady reminds women of their strategic role in peace building which she says should not be compromised.

She restates her commitment to identify with the vulnerable and less privileged through her pet project Silifat Abdullahi Sule Hope Foundation in the state.

The First Lady noted that with the cooperation of all, government will continue to succeed in its mandate.

While applauding the present administration for carrying women along, Chairperson of the Migili Women Association, Martha Daniel solicits support to complete a school construction as well as address the plight of widows and orphans among them.

The Nasarawa State government has taken further steps to boost Agriculture and Education in the state.

This followed a Memorandum of Understanding signed today with the Oriental Region of Morocco and the Nasarawa state government on the sidelines of the Forum of African Regions in Saidia, Morocco.

The MoU will also foster collaboration in the area of Mining and Solid Minerals Development as well as Tourism between the 2 Sub-nationals.

Nasarawa state Governor Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule signed on behalf of the state government.

Engr Sule is taking part in the regional summit taking place in Morroco.

The MOU will be implemented within the framework of the Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement.

FORUM of AFRICAN REGIONS SUMMIT

Nasarawa State H.E Engr. Abdullahi Sule is attending the Forum of African Regions Summit which begins today in Saidia, Morocco.

Governor Sule is representing Nigeria along with Governors of Ekiti and Edo states.

Governor Sule was earlier in a breakfast meeting with Jean Pierre Elong Mbassi, Secretary General of the United Cities and Local Governments of Africa to discuss regional partnerships within the context of the Africa Free Trade Are.

Her Excellency, Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi A. Sule, First Lady of Nasarawa State condoles the former National Vice Chairman of APC, Ahmad Suleiman Wambai over father’s demise.

Hajiya Silifat Sule while at the family compound of the deceased, she described the late Wambai of Lafia, Alhaji Musa Gwale as an elder who served as guidance to upcoming generations.

The First Lady prayed God to grant him Aljannat Firdausi and the family and entire Lafia Emirate, the fortitude to bear the loss.

Responding on behalf of the family, son to the deceased, Yahaya Musa Wambai thanked the First Lady for identifying with them in their moment of grief.

The ruling APC have made a huge mistake by allowing selfish interest to takeover the party primaries especial in Nasarawa West. Abdulaziz SK is a force you would rather have with you than against you. The people rejected the outcome of the APC primaries and insisted that Abdulaziz contest in any political Party and we would come out in our numbers to vote for him and ensure he emerge victorious in the forthcoming elections. He has done it before, and he would do it again. The "SK MOVEMENT" is unstoppable, it is here to stay, the people are tired of incompetence, the people are tired of corrupt leaders, the people are tired of bad governance. This is why we would follow Abdulaziz SK Danladi anywhere he goes, he is a symbol of hope, he puts the interest of his people first. We are making a paradigm shift in 2023 and the history we created in Keffi East would be replicated in Karu/Kokona/keffi Federal Constituency. We created history in SDP against all odds in 2019, today we would create history again in Action Alliance (AA).

Her Excellency, Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi A. Sule, First Lady Nasarawa State attends the Northern Governors’ Wives Forum meeting hosted by the Wife of Kebbi state Governor, Dr Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu at the Kebbi State Government House, Birnin Kebbi.

The Governors’ Wives joined by the Kebbi state Governor, Atiku Bagudu and the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami SAN commissioned the KAWARA Sports Arena which is an initiative of the Kebbi state Governor’s Wife and constructed by the state government.

The Centre is to among other things provide an avenue for youth engagement to take them off drugs abuse.

The facility also has a segment to carter for drug addicts and also rehabilitate them for onward reintegration into the society.
