Who is IB:

Ibrahim Pilasar Mbaya / Mbaye - also called Ibee Mbaya. Young model, chef/pastry chef, Mr & Miss Glam Nigeria contestant, graduated from University of Jos Social Science Dept in 2024 but stayed back in Jos to hustle.
Son of Rev. Daniel YC Mbaya, EYN President.

He spent the night at a friend's off-campus apartment behind City of David, Ring Road, Jos.

Three of them slept in the same room. • In the morning, an iPhone was declared missing - reports say iPhone 11.
the person who actually took the phone left for school, expecting to meet the owner there. • The remaining roommates / compound guys accused Ibee of stealing it. He was subjected to brvtal t0rture - be@ten with a w00den plank, stepped on, tied and suspended from a wooden frame, locked in a room.

He was injured, a nurse declared him de@d, perpetrators tried to take him to JUTH (Jos University Teaching Hospital) before police arrested them.

• The person who took the phone returned in the evening after lectures to discover they had already t0rtured and kllled IB, only to realize he was innocent - no phone was found on him.

Police in Plateau State have reportedly picked up suspects. The community is demanding and arrest of everyone in the compound including cameramen.
