On Thursday, 26th February, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) officials visited Gajeto Primary School to enlighten learners on hard drugs and their implications.

The officials delivered an informative and impactful talk on drug abuse, educating the pupils about the dangers and consequences of using hard drugs. The session was engaging and highly beneficial.

The teachers and students of Gajeto Primary School were truly enlightened and delighted by the awareness program.

On Tuesday, 3rd February, the Headmaster of Gajeto Primary School, Mallam Aminu Tafida Along side his Ast. HMs. demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment to the welfare of the school by personally overseeing the maintenance exercise. Broken and abandoned chairs were repaired and restored, helping to create a safer, neater, and more conducive learning environment for our learners. This timely intervention will greatly improve classroom comfort, encourage better concentration, and support effective teaching and learning. We commend Mallam Aminu Tafida for this proactive effort and dedication to improving the overall standard of our school.

Guidance and Counseling Unit – Personal Hygiene

The Guidance and Counseling Unit of Gajeto Primary School sensitized pupils on the importance of personal hygiene. Pupils were educated on keeping their bodies, clothes, and general appearance clean through regular bathing, hand washing, brushing of teeth, trimming of nails, and wearing clean clothes.

The session highlighted how good personal hygiene helps prevent illness, promotes confidence, and supports a healthy school environment. Pupils participated actively and were encouraged to practice good hygiene habits daily at home and in school.

SUPERVISION VISIT TO UBE GAJETO PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL

Today 13th January 2025, The Executive Secretary Umar Shaba, Board Member II , Honourable Muhammad Mudi, and the Head of Quality Assurance, Malam Garba visited UBE Gajeto on a supervisory visit. The purpose of the visit was to supervise the school and ensure that all academic activities have fully commenced.

During the visit, classrooms were inspected, teaching and learning activities were observed, and staff attendance and lesson delivery were checked. The team interacted with teachers and pupils and expressed satisfaction with the level of academic activities ongoing in the school.

The school management sincerely appreciates the officials for their visit, guidance, and continued support towards improving teaching and learning in UBE Gajeto.

REPORT ON STAFF MEETING 13th January, 2026

A staff meeting was held today, 13th January 2026, by our newly appointed Headmaster, Malam Aminu Tafida. During the meeting, the Headmaster spoke passionately on the importance of teachers’ punctuality, proper record keeping, and active involvement in extra-curricular activities as key factors for effective teaching and overall school development.
He warmly pledged his commitment to work hand-in-hand with all staff members and emphasized that success can only be achieved through teamwork. He also encouraged teachers to freely share new ideas and innovations that will contribute to the growth and progress of the school, assuring everyone that his office is always open.
The session was interactive, inspiring, and impactful, leaving teachers motivated and hopeful. Staff members expressed their happiness with his leadership approach and warmly welcomed the new Headmaster, assuring him of their maximum cooperation and support toward achieving the school’s goals.
