I came across this picture and read this woman's story, 9 surgeries 😔
I just thought about her husband and how he has been pulling through and standing by her.
This reminded me of the day we lost our first baby.
I was standing there while my wife lay helpless, waiting to be moved into the theatre. I stood still as tears dropped from my eyes.
The two most important people in my life were in trouble, and there was absolutely nothing I could do.
I prayed all through the surgery.
When she came out, what broke my heart the most was seeing her lying there with scars and no baby.
I was there all through. I slept in the hospital. I fed her. I helped her stand. I cleaned her up and walked the journey with her.
Listen, marriage is sweet, but when life hits you hard, you need a kind and loving partner.
Some people may say this is just content, but even for content, there are men who cannot show affection to their wives.
Yes, it is often easier for women to stand by their husbands during tough times. But many men lack the emotional strength to stand by their wives.
They get irritated, overwhelmed, and give up too easily.
We need to do better. We should not be ashamed to show that we love and cherish our wives.
Let me say this clearly. Please marry a kind partner.
Not just someone you love on good days, but someone who will stay when life becomes heavy.
Not someone who will walk away when the journey gets tougher.
There are good men and good women. Do not settle for anything less.
Life’s burdens become lighter when you walk with a kind partner.
