DAY AND NIGHT IS CONSIDERED AS TWO DAYS IN NIGERIA PRISON

IS THIS STATEMENT TRUE?

Hmmmmm

Lets find out

As we all know, defination of a day is 24 hours.

The prison doesn't have a different day or different type of calculating their own hours.

For that reason

There is nothing like that.

A day outside is the same a day inside prison

Saying day and night is calculated as two days inside prison is a Fallacy, a myth and misconception

What we have is Remission

Sentence reduction for good conduct

If you behave well during your time in prison, dem go record am for you

And the maximum remission you can receive as a Prisoner in Nigeria is reduction of one third of your sentence time.

Example

If them sentence you to ten years imprisonment and you behave well.
Your sentenced can reduced to 7 years

If you are sentenced to 15 years, your sentence can be reduced to 10 years.

Remember, there is a condition attached to get this benefits.

You must be of very good character and good conduct during your stay.

SECONDLY,
Another reason someone could spend less than their normal time in prison is this.

Most time, the court will add the number of years such person has stayed under detention to their number of years of imprisonment

THIRDLY

We also have what we call Parole in Nigeria Correctional Centre

This one is for those sentenced to at least 15 years imprisonment or life imprisonment

Once you serve one third of your prison time and you are of good conduct.

They can recommend you for Parole

If na life sentence, once you serve 20 years you can be recommended for Parole and your name fit enter the list of people wey fir get Presidential or State pardon

A POLYGAMOUS SOUL, FORCED TO SIGN UP FOR MONOGAMY IN NIGERIAN CHURCH

This is the story of most men in Nigeria who got married through a licensed church, unknowing to them that they are now married under the act.

Which means
One man, one woman marriage

Yes, i will blame the church for this deceit

The church do not take enough time to explain the legal implication of their willingness to marry in their church, which is licenced by the ministry of Interior to conduct Statutory Marriage.

At the marriage Registry, they will read out the laws governing the type of marriage you are about to go into and give you a chance to rethink and make a new decision

They will read it out like this.

If you marry another wife without divorcing your present wife, it's bigamy and the punishment is 7 yrs imprisonment

If you send your wife out of the house for any reason, it's two years imprisonment

If you raise your hand to beat her, it's three years imprisonment

And so on

They will read it out clearly

But the church will only inform you that your marriage is registered with the government and your marriage certificate is acceptable worldwide and you can use it to travel to any country

And the man is excited 🤣🤣🤣🤣

That's Deceit to me.

they should tell the man boldly that, your marriage is same thing 100% as Court Marriage (Statutory marriage)

The church must change it's way regarding statutory marriage conducted in their church and tell the man the truth and give him the opportunity to rethink and change his decision or accept his fate fully, knowing the stake involved in what he is going into.

2021, i collected a L0an of 80k and due to one or two reasons, i could not pay back and i deleted the app and ignored all their calls.

I decided to start paying back small small today and i downloaded the app to know the Interest added so far.

What i saw shocked me.

Atanda, i opened the app and realised that my L0an is been cleared off

As in, i am not owing again

Nothing like minus anything and i saw last notification to be thank you for repaying your L0an completely

I never see this one before oo

Atanda My husband was sentenced to 14 years impris0nment recently and i want to file for divorce cos i need to move on with my life, i can't wait for 14 years

I am still a very young lady of 26 years only.

We got married at the registry and the marriage have only one child and the marriage produced three property and i love to have out of the three cos i contributed to the acquisition of those properties.

He was sentenced for Ab0rting the Pregnancy he had with his side chick.

He gave her ab0rtion against her wish cos she insist she will keep the pr£gnancy.

I never had a single idea that my own lovely husband was cheating on me, until the whole saga came out broad day light and he was arrested

Pls, i need to move on

Will the court grant me divorce considering the fact that he is now in prison

Pls i want to know sir.

IF NOT FOR SOCIAL MEDIA, SHE WOULD ESCAPE THROUGH PRESIDENTIAL PARDON

Even the supreme court Faults President Tinubu for Granting Presidential Pardon to someone whose appeal case is ongoing at the Supreme Court as at that time.

But social media warriors did not agree and President Tinubu listened to our cry and removed her name.

Meanwhile,

The president has the right to maintain his ground that time, but he choose not to

Because, he is a listening President

At this point, should we say it's over for Maryan as the Supreme Court has re affirmed her judgement?

Definitely NO.
She has only one option left

No room for further appeal

The only option available is still President Pardon

Maybe, not under President Tinubu

But any other President after Tinubu can still show her mercy.

That doesn't mean President Tinubu do not have the legal right to grant her mercy again, but we are sure he wouldn't make such mistake again.

1. Limited Liability Protection (Separation of Assets)

Legally, if your business is registered as LLC ehn, you are different from your business

If you have any legal issue personally, it will not affect your business

Example, maybe you commit crime.
They will come for you personally and not touch your business at all

Or if your business commit crme, they will go for your business only and not touch you in person

BUT under Business Name.

You and your business are one, anything that brings you down will bring the business down too

2. Separate Legal Personality

For business registered under LLC, your business can sue and be sued in its own name

Your business can enter into contracts in its own name, and you can buy property in your business name.

But you can do these things when your Business is registered as Business Name

3. Perpetual Succession

If you register your Business as Business name.
Once you kpai as the owner, the Business kpai too

But as a Limited Liability Company (LLC): The company has perpetual succession. It continues to exist as a legal entity despite say the owner don kpai

In fact, the business can continue if you talk you no do again.

4. The use of "Limited," "Ltd.," or "LLC" in your business name instantly boosts your corporate image and reputation.

Atanda, Muslims in my area are found of blocking the road during their JUMAT prayer.

It's getting too much and i can't take it anmore.
Are they the only one worshipping GOD

This afternoon, i want to rush somewhere with my car

I couldn't pass through, cos they blocked the road as usual again and that little delay caused me to loose what i was going to get.

Pls, i need to put an end to this

What is the right step to take in dealing with them Next week Friday
