Family Expresses Gratitude To All Who Participated in Muhammadu Buhari’s Burial and Prayers

The most senior member of the Buhari family, the family of the late President, Muhammadu Buhari, Malam Mamman Daura has, on behalf of the family expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his wife,the First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu for their role and that of Government of the Federation before, and after the passing of the former president.

“It is truly comforting to receive such support from the President and the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, who went to the United Kingdom, and here in Daura, for the days he and the ministers were during the mourning period. These have instilled confidence in all of us to face this loss with courage.

“We are deeply grateful to the President on his thoughtful gestures in declaring a public holiday and renaming the University of Maiduguri after Buhari.

“Our gratitude also goes to leaders of the various countries around the globe who either came in person, sent representatives, sent letters, or placed personal telephone calls to commiserate with us. Of special note were those of the King of England, King Charles 111, the Secretary General of the United Nations, the Deputy Secretary General, Amina Mohammed, the Chairman of the African Union, and that of the Committee of Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS countries, and our former Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar.

“Muhammadu Buhari’s demise is an irreparable loss, and the pain is beyond words, but the general reaction and kind expressions give us the strength to cope with the loss of our esteemed family member and former leader of the country.

“The family is equally grateful to Vice President Kashim Shettima in his own person and his wife, and to all state governors, especially those of Katsina, the host governor, Dr Dikko Umar Radda; Professor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State, and all those who visited us in the UK and Daura from Adamawa, Kano, Kwara, Lagos, Kaduna, Imo, Nassarawa, Bauchi, Sokoto, Kebbi, as well as the several former governors, including Dr Peter Obi, for their compassionate words of condolence. Your empathy has touched our hearts deeply, and we are truly grateful for your kindness.

Doctors remove 35 olive pits, 28 date seeds, and 5 stones from a 92-year-old woman’s stomach and intestines in Turkey.

Doctors in Turkey recently performed surgery on a 92-year-old woman who was admitted with severe stomach pain, nausea, and vomiting. Imaging revealed that her stomach and intestines were blocked by numerous hard objects.

In a two-hour operation, surgeons removed 63 items—35 olive pits, 28 date seeds, and 5 large calcified stones measuring up to 6 cm. The woman had a habit of swallowing fruit pits, which over time remained in her digestive system.

These pits acted as a base for mineral buildup, eventually forming hardened masses known as bezoars. As they grew in size, they caused serious obstruction. Left untreated, this could have led to internal bleeding, tissue damage, or intestinal rupture. Thankfully, the surgery was successful and the patient is recovering well.

Allah Ne Kaɗai Ya San Irin Alherin Da Pantami Ya Yi Wa Ƴan Nijeriya, Inji Farfesa Yusuf Usman

A wata hira da aka yi da shi, tsohon shugaban Hukumar NHIS, Farfesa Usman Yusuf, ya bayyana godiyarsa da yabonsa ga Professor Isa Ali Pantami bisa irin kyakkyawan taimako da goyon bayan da ya bai wa al’umma da kasa baki ɗaya.

A cewarsa, tun lokacin da Farfesa Pantami yake shugaban Hukumar NITDA, yana da halin kaiwa Shugaban Ƙasa Muhammadu Buhari wa’azi da shawarwari na gari, inda yake isar da bukatun al’umma da abubuwan da zai amfani jama’a ba tare da wata manufa ta kai kanka ba.

Ya ƙara da cewa akwai wani lokaci da aka hana shi ganawa da shugaban ƙasa, amma Farfesa Pantami ne ya shiga tsakani har shugaban ƙasa ya kira shi da kansa, abinda ya nuna irin matsayinsa wajen kare mutuncin mutane da taimakonsu a boye.

Farfesa Usman Yusuf ya ƙare da cewa, “Allah ne kaɗai yasan yawan alherin da Farfesa Pantami ya yi wa ‘yan Najeriya. Irin jajircewarsa da gaskiyarsa abin yabo ne. Allah ya saka masa da alheri.”
