What God has prepared for you will come with His peace, His process, and His permission. When we reach for what He has not yet released, we step outside His order and into unnecessary consequences.

Sin is not only doing what is forbidden. It is also taking what God has not given to you yet.

Trust His timing. Wait for His leading. What God gives in season will never require you to violate His will to obtain it.

A father is more than a title. He is a source of strength, guidance, sacrifice, and protection. Through every season, fathers carry responsibilities that often go unseen, yet their influence shapes generations.

Today, we celebrate the men who have embraced the call to lead with wisdom, love with sincerity, and stand firm in faith. We honour those who have become examples of integrity, diligence, and godly character to their families and communities.

To every father in Firstline Christian Restoration Missions and to fathers around the world, thank you for your sacrifices, your prayers, your counsel, and your unwavering commitment to those entrusted to your care.

May God continually strengthen your hands, increase your wisdom, preserve your health, and reward your labour of love.

"When self is enthroned as god, man becomes a slave and can never advance God's purpose."

One of the greatest battles in the life of every believer is the battle for the throne of the heart.

God created man to live under His government and to find true freedom in complete dependence upon Him. Yet from the beginning, the enemy's temptation has always been the same: to make man place himself where only God should be.

Whenever self occupies the throne, everything begins to revolve around personal ambition, personal comfort, personal reputation, personal desires, and personal gain. Decisions are no longer made based on God's will but on what benefits the individual most.

Ironically, the man who seeks absolute independence does not become free. He becomes a slave.

He becomes a slave to his emotions, a slave to his fears, a slave to the opinions of men, a slave to pride, a slave to lust, and a slave to the endless demands of the flesh. What appears to be freedom eventually becomes bo***ge.

God's purpose can only find expression through yielded vessels. Throughout Scripture, every person God used significantly was first brought to a place where self was dethroned and God's authority was embraced.

Before Abraham could become the father of nations, he had to leave behind his own plans. Before Moses could lead Israel, his confidence in himself had to be broken. Before Paul could carry the Gospel to the nations, his personal ambitions had to die at the feet of Christ.

The Kingdom of God advances through men and women who have surrendered their right to rule themselves and have chosen instead to be governed by the Spirit of God.

The question before every believer is simple:

Who sits on the throne of your heart?

As long as self remains king, God's purpose will remain resisted. But when Christ is enthroned, purpose finds expression, destiny gains clarity, and grace supplies the strength to fulfill heaven's assignment.

The path to true greatness in God's Kingdom is not self-exaltation. It is complete surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

When I see you, I know what I look like daily, when I don't see you, I'm just like yesterday.

The overall goal of the Christian journey is not merely church attendance, spiritual activities, ministry involvement, prosperity, influence, or even the acquisition of biblical knowledge. The ultimate purpose of God's dealings with us is that we be transformed into the image of Christ.

The Father did not send His Son simply to improve our lives. He sent Him to reproduce His life within us.

Many believers measure growth by what they have received from God. Heaven measures growth by how much of Christ can be seen in them.

A man may pray fervently, preach powerfully, sing beautifully, and yet remain unchanged in character. He may experience encounters, miracles, and breakthroughs, yet still be far from the very purpose for which those experiences were given.

Every day presents an opportunity for the nature of Christ to gain expression in us. His humility should replace our pride. His love should conquer our selfishness. His purity should overcome our compromises. His obedience should become our lifestyle.

The Christian life is not merely about getting God to bless our plans. It is about allowing God to shape us until His Son is revealed through us.

Whatever we pursue in our walk with God, if it is not producing a deeper conformity to Christ, then we have missed the central essence of the Gospel. The coming of Jesus was not only to forgive sinners but also to raise a people who would bear His likeness in a dark and dying world.

May our daily prayer be:

"Lord, make me more like You today than I was yesterday. Let every experience, every trial, every victory, and every season of my life contribute to the formation of Christ within me."

For in the end, the greatest evidence of spiritual progress is not what we have accumulated, but who we are becoming.
